SKLZ Catapult Soft Toss Machine

Looks sharp, probably works well however when I went to assemble the spiral ball funnel one of the pieces is missing. I tried to reach out to Home Tester Club twice about it & I haven't heard anything back from them so I figured I better leave some type of review. The whole concept is a great idea. My son would have loved to of tried the SKLZ Catapult Soft Toss Machine but with the missing part it wouldn't work as intended. I am sure the missing part was an accident. It seemed easy to set up & we were looking forward to trying it. I'm sure it's a good, helpful machine for working on offensive & defensive plays.

The soft toss ball machine I received for free in exchange for my review was a big hit at practice. The lightweight portability was easy to transport and the machine is very effective in helping the kids with practice. It made it easier for me to help in other areas while some were using this equipment. I feel it is a great tool and is great for practice.

My son loves using the pitching machine. It works great, easy to use and seems well made. It is easy for my son to carry and set up as well. He is always so excited to use it and I would definitely recommend it for the baseball lovers out there!

Not the highest quality and doesnt launch baseballs very far but would be okay for younger kids to practice batting.

It works well. It is great for a young child learning to catch when you use baseballs. The plastic balls do well for teaching batting. It does have to be plugged in so you will need to use an extension cord if you’re going out into a yard or field. You can also use batteries for it, though! It is a fun and effective way to get practice in for your team.

The SKLZ catapult soft toss pitching and fielding machine is a well designed and sturdy little machine. It's very easy to set up, with only 7 pieces that either snap on or screw in (no tools required). It's impressively lightweight, but very sturdy, as the size and shape of the base keep it well balanced. Another great feature is the ability to either plug into an outlet with the provided AC adapter or can be powered by 4 D batteries to be able to easily take it to the baseball diamond or a larger open area. It's compact and lightweight design, as well as quick and easy assembly make it super easy to transport. Now, to the performance of the machine itself. The machine runs smoothly and works as described. The adjustable catapult allows to practice fielding and working on anticipating and being ready for all kinds of fielding situations. It's also a really great pitching machine to practice batting. Our whole family enjoys. It's like having our own personal batting cage.

I was sent the machine free of charge for my honest opinion since I have had a chance to test it out here is what I liked about it. I love its light weight and easily can be moved from location to location compared to other pitching machines. One of the things I didn’t like was it’s made of plastic and easily comes apart I fear it will fall apart or break easily (only time will tell). I will continue to use the product however for now I highly recommend it to other coaches and parents for improving their players skills.

The instructions to assemble to a little bit to understand, but once it was together we enjoyed playing with this. You can adjust the settings for distance and it can be utilized by battery or plugged into an outlet. We even used it to play catch with our dog.

The SKLZ catapult machine is a handy tool for practicing both batting and catching for one player or a whole team. Its adjustable throwing distance/height makes it perfect for testing numerous scenarios in the field or on the diamond. The mechanism itself is sturdy and should last through multiple seasons. One exception to this may be the piece that holds the ball cage. This is made of plastic and looks like it may break after removing the cage many times. Overall, this ball machine is an excellent choice for anyone hoping to brush up on their skills before the game.

SKLZ catapult works exactly as expected without any issues. Came with adaptor and seems sturdy enough. Had no issues while testing this product. The catapult would be a great practice for kids

This is the most helpful product around. My kids and grandkids always need to practice hitting the ball but we don't always have time to do that with them so this is totally useful.

Average sports equipment. While it does what it says it’s supposed to do, it is basic. There’s no real umph behind it so therefore you only get gentle tosses. Basically I’d say spend time with your child and toss the ball yourself.

Pros: The machine was easy to assemble. For soft toss it worked okay if your child wants to practice on their own. Same for fly balls.. you have to use plastic 9inch balls and the machine throws it up for catching. Cons: For soft toss if you put all 8 hard balls at once the balls get stuck. The spiral funnel is flimsy and the adjustable trajectory level keeps falling off. Overall the machine is appropriate for beginner players.

Sklz catapul soft toss pitch machine is a great way to get practice in at home with out a full team! This machine puts out good consistent pitches that are easy to get a rhythm going and work on your swing. I recommend this to kid playing baseball!
