Sweet speed ball

Fun and informative!!
We have been enjoying the Sklz Bullet Ball. My boys are avid ball players, and getting pitch speed is very useful information. Not only were we able to set the distance and get accurate speed detection but it became a very fun and competitive tool. Using this speed detection training ball is easy, fun and provides invaluable information. I highly recommend.

So Cool

Awesome
The new SKLZ bullet ball is awesome. My son plays baseball and he uses it at home to measure his throwing speed. He showed the coaches the ball and they ended up buying 10 balls for practice.

It's a no from me
I really like the idea of this item. It just doesn't work. Changing the distance from 60 to 40 is very spotty. I also just don't trust the reading at all. To turn it "on" you really got to give the ball a "hit" . I mean it is a baseball. Same size and weight so it's got that going for it, but I'm afraid it just doesn't do what it says it's going to do. Just not worth your time unfortunately.

Inaccurate speed recording
This didn’t come with instructions so I had to do some digging online to find the manual on the company website. For it to capture throwing speed accurately, you have to take the battery out, then back in for the ball to reset. The batteries won't last long and honestly I wouldn't waste your money buying more for it. The capture speed is absolutely in accurate. Throws that were nearly the same distance, speed, and angle would measure anywhere from 40mp to 110mph..

Great Training Aid
The Skilz Bullet Ball is a super cool way to work on pitching skills. The ball is sturdy and weighted the same as a regular baseball. It reads speeds of over a 100mph. It is not made for batting only to pitch to another player. Very helpful in practicing pitching and baseball in general.
