What a cute little discovery activity for the kids. It's a little messy so make sure you have an area designated to start this. We opened ours outside. The kids had so much fun "excavating" all the pieces, and putting their dinosaur together. They loved the different textures of the slime and the sand.

Great toy
My son was super happy when we received this toy. He had a ball with it. The biggest problem that we had is that it is very messy. You have to be very careful when you opening nip the different products inside of the egg.
ZURU'S Robo Alive Mega Dino Fossil Find is a very nice play set. It comes with several different sensory products (slime, sand and slime sand) that have the different parts of the dinosaur inside of them. It also has a rock that you are able to mine the dinosaurs head out of. Once you go through all of the different packages you are able to build a Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton with the pieces. My 7 year old son and I had a fun time finding the pieces and then building the dinosaur. I definitely recommend this product.
I have to say how cool these little eggs are and how much joy they bring to my nephew. He really lovedopening it and discovering and playing. I recommend this brand for all your toy needs.

Super cool
What a fun toy. All the things involved to get the dinosaur are fun and messy. So if you have kids under 3 steer clear as they will make a mess. Great for supervised sensory play. My boys think this is super cool

Mega Dino Fun
This Mega Dino toy by ZURU is perfect for my little boys, it speaks their love languages: egg cracking, slime, kinetic sand, loose sand, fossil exploration and building. I put my 3 boys in the living room in their beach tent and let them go to work for over an hour. The added bonus of the dinosaur tail activated dino roar was the cherry on top.
My goal was to reduce the household's TV time. My sons don't really realize that the TV is off when we're having simple family fun. With this toy, my goal has been achieved.
My oldest loves science and this toy piques his interest in dinosaurs and fossils. It is a great toy for 3 young future scientists.
From the stickers to the egg itself my kids absolutely LOVED this. Though getting the plastic off was a hassle and the little hammer loved being attached to the egg opening it was fairly easy. The sand is HUGE mess and the slime is sticky but that's what my kids love the most. The dinosaur didn't work though but after everything else that came with they didn't care. My youngest especially was just happy to have another dinosaur

Just ok -better products out there
Let me start by saying, this is a super messy toy! Highly recommend doing this outside! My almost 10 year old was excited to test this out upon its arrival. However, he was annoyed it took us over 5 minutes to open it because we didn’t have any scissors. There’s a pull tab to open but it didn’t work as easily as it should have. The kit comes with difffwrent parts of the dino in which you have to dig them out. Some where in plaster l, some in slime, and some in a more powder type slime. Once we got the kit opened, he mostly enjoyed hammering the pieces away from the plaster, but he didn’t seem to enjoy must of the other parts. The slime was too sticky for his liking, and putting the dinosaur together was a little too hard. The dinosaur we got also had a leg that wouldn’t match up, so he wouldn’t even stand up correctly. My son said he thinks this would be better for kids a little younger who are into dinosaurs. I agreed. Maybe 6/7 year olds.
Can not wait to give this to my nephew this weekend. He LOVES dinosaurs. The package is pretty awesome. It’s supposed to replicate a dinosaur egg. He will be very excited.
