I always wanted this
i love lathering my skin with soap instead of foam. This is the product to go for best smell and love the way. The Wooden box is best and very good add to my stuffs. Looks sleek.

Great bowl
Love the wooden bowl. The idea of it having a lid makes it look very appealing on the counter. What I didn't care for was the soap. Immediately after the first use, I got 2 ingrown hairs on my neck.

Better than gel
For starters, this smells phenomenal. Just taking it out of the wrapping, the scent was great. Easy to use and apply, it left me with a clean shave without bumps or cuts. If you are looking to try something new that does a better job that your current product, give this a try.

Impressed
As a wet shaver of about 3 years, I'd heard of this soap before. I'd heard stories of its cooling, refreshing properties and how it's a classic and staple of every wet shaver's shave den. I picked up this soap, along with the pre/post shave cream, and gave it a shot. Firstly, after a good hit face wash, I applied the pre/post cream. The tingle begins. I'd read it's best to let this stuff sit on the face for a minute or to to "work". After about 5 seconds it was like an artic blast hit my face. I begin the lather process, which is different from other shave soaps. This is more of a "croap" as its softer than your usual puck of soap, but much firmer than a cream. About 10 seconds of loading the brush is PLENTY. I prefer face lathering over a bowl, so I start building the lather. I'm using hot enough tap water that it steams, but all I feel is the icy numbness of menthol. Works well!

Great product
Very nice product. Super slick and eliminates most of my irritation. It has a nice subtle sandalwood scent that is just enough. It fits snugly in the wooden brown so there is no spinning of the soap when whipping a lather. I have gone straight to my face from the soap and also from the soap to a mug then my face... Either way works. This product is more expensive than a lot of other soaps but it will last a long time. I haven't even scrubbed the brand stamp off the soap after 5x week use for a month.

I love the rich lather.
I loved their shavings butter soap. I love how it smelled the scent is not too overbearing. I liked the most the way it moisturized my skin and left my legs feeling silky smooth. I also recommend it to every one that shaves.

Great addition to your shaving experience.
Would highly recommend this. Build quality is excellent, and soap seams to be high quality. Would however like to see a brush included as I’ve seen with other kits in the past.
