Thick oil
This is a first for me, but a great new addition. Scentless, but it kinda seems like applying EVOO to my face. My beard is softer as a result and makes shaving easier.

Pre-shave oil changes the shaving experience
The pre-shave oil changed my entire shaving experience. I have always just immediately applied shaving cream, or wet-shaved in the shower. When I applied the pre-shave oil, I could immediately tell that my skin was going to enjoy this. The razor glided on my skin. My skin has never been this smooth after shaving, and I am confident it is because of the oil.

I found this Pre shave oil very nice and soft on our facial skin. Its formula is so good that I found it helps in moisturizing facial skin making way for next lathering the shave cream. So I like this Pre Shave oil

Helps protect my skin
The Art of Shaving is a great product line! The Shaving oil is great to moisturize your skin which helps protect it from any knicks and also preps the skin to get a smooth and close shave. My skin looks great after using and stays hydrated! I highly recommend!

Not always necessary but very helpful
I didn't find the extra shaving routine step (and extra product) of the pre-shave oil to result in any smoother or closer shave on the face as a whole. I did find, however, that this oil is thick and coats so well that I used it only on those curved areas I usually get cuts on, and I got fewer nicks and cuts on daily shaves.

Great Product to Use Before Shaving
I recently tried this Pre-Shave Oil from the Art of Shaving, and I thought it did its job well. The oil has a pleasant scent, and I did notice that using this product before shaving made the process of shaving easier and more pleasant. My skin was more moisturized which helped to prevent nicks and cuts.

Great shave
A great combination. I shave with a straight razor or a DE safety razor. This is usually a tough shave, but a close shave. I use a variety of different products to make the process as comfortable as possible. I have an expensive brush and several different soaps. I found this kit to be significantly better than any of the stuff that I already had. I would definitely be purchasing again.
