amazing preshave oil
this preshaving oil is insanely good. it prepped the skin throughtly and it made it really smooth and soft ready to shave. i totally recommend it. i loved this whole line and the scent is definitely my favorite. it is a lavender fresh scent. devine.

I tried this shave oil a few times and every time I used it, it caused my razor to slip around and I ended up cutting myself.

Good
The Art of Shaving products are very good for the skin. They provide moisture and also help to get the job done. I shave twice a week and have a light stubble. This product has been soothing , moisturizing and gets shaving done

Great product!

Oil is very slick
The purpose of the oil is lost on me. When using it as a prep, it just causes the lather to not adhere and soak in.

Pre shave gel works great
I was a little hesitant to try this because I already have semi oily skin and didn't want to put more on, but I admit that it did give me a better shave overall. With all the products in the kit used in sequence it was the best shave of my life.

Good shave prep
I like shaving with a shave prep oil. Although I'm not a huge fan of fragranced products on my face I think it's great that the company gives you a choice between a few fragrances and they offer a non scented version. On that note the labels indicate the fragrance isn't synthetic so that's a plus. Overall I liked this product. Not my go to shave oil but it definitely helps soften the hair for a better shave than without an oil.

Great shave
I have never tried a shaving system with a brush. I shave my head and parts of my face and neck. I was surprised immediately. The pre-shave oil felt and smelled nice and once I started brushing on the shaving cream, I was amazed at the amount of foamy bubbles. I shaved my entire head and neck and cheek area. It is hours since my shave and I still can’t believe how close of a shave i got after only one pass. I got a better and quicker shave. I will definitely be using this method from now on. I usually have to go over areas a few times to get it close, but it wasn’t necessary. The scent was really nice and after using all the products, I had a very cooling, refreshing feeling that I’ve never experienced before. Overall, I was very impressed. Definitely will recommend to my friends.

High Quality Product, High End Results
I’ve loved adding this Art Of Shaving Pre Shave Oil Lavender to my shaving routine. It has a great viscosity with a very pleasant feel on the face and facial hair. A Pre-Shave That Works
The Pre-Shave brought me back in time. It had a very nice smell to it - not overpowering! It complemented the smells of the other kit products. The best part is that it accomplishes it's purpose - to prepare the skin and beard for the shave. It did a nice job doing just this by giving a great lather.

Handy pre-shave oil
The Pre-Shave Oil is a soothing lavender oil mixed with olive oil and castor oil. The lavender is supposed to meet the "perfume standard" for French Lavender. If you use it before shaving, it helps protect against irritation and razor burn.
