4.4 5 0 370 370 Clarityn Allergy tablets contain the active substance Loratidine which belongs to a class of medicines called ’antihistamines’. Clarityn Allergy tablets help to reduce your allergy symptoms by stopping the effects of a substance called ’histamine’, which is produced in the body when you are allergic to something. Clarityn Allergy Tablets relieves symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (for example, hay fever), such as sneezing, runny or itchy nose, and burning or itchy eyes in adults and children over the age of 2 years who weight more than 30kg. Clarityn Allergy Tablets may also be used to help relieve symptoms of urticaria (itching and redness) which is often known as hives or nettle rash. The effect of Clarityn Allergy Tablets will last a whole day and should help you to continue your normal daily activities and sleep. You must talk to a doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse.

Eases insect bites
I was recommend these while on holiday in Portugal to ease insect bites. I had quite a few which had made me hand and arm swollen. I took these for a couple of days and couldn’t believe how quickly they worked. Within a day the swelling had eased and the itching to reduce. They didn’t make me feel drowsy either. Will definitely make sure I have these in my case for all my summer holidays in the future.

Effective for allergies
I have taken loratidine for allergies for years as I find they work best for me compared to other antihistamines. Clarityn work well and are widely available, but I do find non branded ones are much cheaper and just as effective.

Work for minor allergies
I have severe hay fever, these DO NOT work for it. However, if my pet allergies act up they do okay, they do no clear it completely but they keep it at bay.
