Pleasantly surprised
My previous stick blender recently went to appliance heaven, so this new one couldn’t have arrived at a better time. After unboxing, my initial thoughts were that it felt quite cheap but looked nice. I was definitely skeptical until trying it. The main part of the blender (wand) feels nice to hold and isn’t too heavy. The blende itself is surprisingly powerful! The first thing I blended up was some dates + water to make a date paste. The blender turned that into a nice consistency pretty quickly. I’ve previously owned a very expensive stick blender $350+ and this one performs just as well.

Light but mighty
This product is exceptionally light and the blades don't look particularly sharp when you are looking at it, but it chops so well, I was thoroughly impressed. On one occasion I was using the machine to chop my onions finely, in place of me grating it with a grater box, and this was done within seconds. I couldn't believe how quickly and effectively it had chopped my onions, and it was easy to get everything out of the container - usually food gets stuck on the sides of the groove or even when you clean it. I also used the chopping functionality for something less fine and it did that extremely well too - I minced garlic and parsley together to get to a "finely chopped" consistency. This was so easy and the machine was quieter than other similar products I have used. Only negative is on occasions the lid did get stuck as I was removing it. It did eventually come off after a few tugs but not a deal breaker. I would highly recommend this product, it has made my life so much easier!

Russell Hobbs blender is great to use, highly recommended. It blends, whisks and chops perfectly and isn’t to big to store away
