De’Longhi La Specialista Opera

Overall I've had a couple differet coffee machines with and without pods. I would have to say having a coffee machine that grinds your coffee WITHOUT a MESS is truely AMAZING! having the right amount of grind and tempreture makes it 10 times better. I love using the La Specialista Opera for many reasons especially that it gives me coffee! But that it is also mess free. Very easy to use and set up! Plus fresh coffee beans all day long! and you get to make a variety of coffee's cold or hot! The La Specialista Opera has many wonderful features and Im yet to try all. Would highly recommend for anyone in the market for a coffee machine.

I have had the De'longhi La Specialista Opera for almost 2 weeks and used in multiple times each day. When I received the product I immediately followed the helpful De'longhi YouTube videos on unboxing, setup and use. The product was packaged exceptionally well and came with all the items needed for both espresso and cold brew coffee. After reviewing the video instructions I immediately felt comfortable setting up the machine. It does take a little bit of time and experimentation to get the 'perfect' brew each time, but it is well worth any effort put in. By fine tuning the grind, and dosage, the volume of crema produced has been consistent. Utilising the handy self tamper lever on the side of the unit I have been able to ensure one less variable. The layout is intuitive and flows well providing all relevant information and warnings easily. Having used professional barista systems in the past I can't recommend this system enough as a quality value for money unit.

This coffee machine is so easy to use and set up, there’s so many YouTube videos to assist with the set up as well as learning how to steam the milk and all. I’m so satisfied with the quality and design of the machine. Saves space with the built in grinder and tamp and heats up in seconds. Huge upgrade from my last machine the De'Longhi Dedica Arte. Would highly recommend this machine.

This is a great medium size machine for home use. I have been making at least one coffee a day and have found it easy to use and keep clean. The coffee options cover all basic needs (option to do cold coffee is a great feature). The flexibility to change grind is easy to use, quiet, and the inbuilt manual tamper means a no mess experience. It took a little time to get the grind level correct to produce a decent cremà, but after a few tries you can tweak it to where it needs to be for a good result. The steam wand delivers instant steam with no excess water and every milk that has been heated has produced a really soft, but dense foam, and good quality temperature, only downside is the jug provided with the unit is on the smaller side, so if you are making coffees for more than one person at a time invest in a larger jug. Overall, a really decent machine for the price that produces professional quality coffee at home.

At first I was worried I’d need a PhD to work this beast, however with a little bit of trial and error (which the manual encourages you to do!) I was able to produce consistently excellent coffee with a minimum of fuss. It wasn’t nearly us difficult as I feared. The integrated tamping mechanism is excellent and the ability to have a separate setting for long black is perfect for people who don’t like milky coffee. Could not recommend this machine more.

I found it very easy to use this machine after watching the video. Very still steps starting up the machine and simple to follow steps. Depending on the beans you are using as they will all taste different, I found the quality of the coffee as good if not better then barista bought coffee (depending on the beans). The design of the machine is sleek and will suite most kitchens no problem, just make sure you have the bench space. The layout of the machine is simple and easy to follow ensuring you are able to make quality coffee from home. I like my coffee strong so the two shot option for me is perfect. As a first time user of a manual coffee machine, I would highly recommend this machine to anyone who is considering one, it is easy to use and keep clean and you can make barista coffee without leaving home and saving on takeaway coffees

The La Specialist Opera coffee machine is an absolute joy to use. From the moment I opened the box, I was impressed with the very stylish design and the quality is excellent. It’s so easy to use and tailor to your own personal preferences. The integrated tamping feature is genius- no more coffee grounds everywhere! I personally love the cold brew and cold espresso functions- they will be fantastic for the coming warm weather. This is much quieter than our old coffee machine, steam wand is ready and works quickly and the large water reservoir with the low water level indicator is great. I can’t recommend the La Specialist Opera more!

I found the Delonghi La Specialista OPERA coffee machine is very easy to use & had excellent results the first time I used it. The buttons are easy to understand for the different types of coffee that is lattes, long blacks & even hot chocolates.Cleaning of the machine is simple & quick. Overall I was very happy with this product.

I've never tried a coffee machine with a grinder included so this was a first. Overall I found it made great coffee but it takes time to learn how to use it. By constantly adjusting the settings you learn the best ways to make the coffee to your own taste. Once I mastered this it was perfect! Very excited that it includes cold brew too and a self tamper handle. Overall I would recommend this product, you just need to commit the time to learn how to beat use it.

I have always been a nespresso coffee drinker and never considered changing until now. I was recently given the opportunity to trial the De'longhi La Specialista espresso machine. First impressions after unboxing it was wow what a gorgeous looking machine. It looks great on the bench and looks very well made. I also recieved two bags of two bags of beans to try. Before attempting to make my first coffee I booked in a Zoom session with the very helpful Natasha from the De'longhi team. She talked me through the initial set up and gave me lots of helpful tips and advice. Great service from the De'longhi team. It took a few attempts to find the correct amount of coffee and the best grind size. When I found the right formula wow was it good. Using the machine felt a little intimidating at first but once I got the hang of it I was suprised at how easy it is to use. Frothing the milk was very easy too. Overall its a wonderful machine that's very easy to use and makes delicious coffee.

I would recommend the La Specialista as it is an excellent compact entry-level machine for beginners, coffee enthusiasts and novice baristas.

Pro’s - This coffee machine makes lovely cafe style coffee at home. Takes a little while to get used to using but with some practice it’s good! Pros - grinds the beans perfectly. Pros - hot water on demand if you want a hot cuppa instead. Pros - great cold brew option for iced coffee. Cons - is a very large machine and takes up a lot of bench space. Cons - pressure dial on ours always has condensation in it. Not a deal breaker but a tad annoying.

This machine makes it easy to perfect barista quality within the home.

I was really looking forward to reviewing this machine and it didn’t disappoint. It blew my mind how easy it is to use, I wish I had one sooner. The quality of the finished coffee is soo good, it tastes just as good as a coffee from a shop and you don’t have to leave home. The coffee machine is so well set out and I really like the magnetic fold up tray for your small cups abe the tamper is so easy to use. Everything seems to be well thought out. I will definitely be recommending that my friends look at getting one of these machines as it’s really easy to use and surprisingly quiet.

Pros: - The smart tamping feature is very convenient. It reduces the mess - The cold brew function is a bonus. - The grinding and brewing is less noisy compared to some other machines. - The portafilter is very easy to slot into the grinder and brewing slots. Cons: - The water tank doesn't have a transparent panel or water level indicator making it harder to know when to refill the tank. - The knobs on the machine lack feedback. Overall it is a good manual coffee machine at the price point.
