Diaper Genie Signature Pail

The diaper genie is amazing - it saves me so much time (which I hardly have any extra of with a baby) because I don't need to be constantly taking dirty diapers outside to the trash. We empty ours 1-2 times a week, and it keeps my daughter's room smelling fresh. The only catch - you have to make sure you fully stuff the diaper down into the bin, or it won't close properly.

Look, as a mom I know the diaper pail is one of the most essential parts of a newborn nursery. I LOVE giving this diaper genie out to first time moms. Sure, it’s not as cute as tiny baby clothes or stuffed animals, but a year later they’ll still be using this diaper genie daily while the stuffie piles up in the closet with dozens of others. Trust me that every new mom will love and value getting one of these!!

Love this product because it keeps the smelly diapers not smelly but con is that it doesn’t hold many which leads me to having mult bags of diapers sitting out waiting to be taking to trash which sits so starts smelling so defeats the purpose of the product

We've purchased one of these off of Amazon and honestly have been loving us since we bought it. I seen the most common complaint is about the bags however I have no complaints seeing as they are very exchangable for generic bags. These trap the smell of messy diapers and keep our room smelling fresh.

I thought I did not need it, but after two under 2, I did. The diaper genie helped keep down the smell that would've been if I had disposed of diapers in my kitchen trashcan. I am not getting rid of this even after kiddos.

I thought this was going to be a baby shower gift that was superfluous and a little over the top in terms of necessity, but I was wrong! It keeps the diaper smell at bay without having to make constant trips outside to the trash, and ESPECIALLY if you have pets that can get into a regular bin... this is a game-changer.

I bought this full price when I was pregnant because I thought it was a must have, everyone was talking about it. I have to be honest, I was underwhelmed with it and ended up giving it away. Firstly the refill bags are expensive for glorified doggie bags. Secondly, it does keep the stench in. I'll give it that. But on the downside of that, I would gag and dry heave when I opened the lid once my kid started solids (you parents all know what I'm talking about about lol). Even just with one or two p00p diapers in there. Oh my lord it stinks so bad in his room for about 30 seconds too long when id open that lid. Anyways, first time parents- please don't fall into the trap of buying all this unnecessary equipment. Save the $$, buy some scented plastic diaper/dog waste bags and maybe a dispenser for it if you're feeling fancy. That's all you need really, which if you hoard plastic bags like the 90% of us, you can easily use those instead for free. Double wrap bc they aren't scented lol

It is better at handling odors than a regular trash can with a lid because of the way it seals in the diapers. However, even with regular cleaning and purchasing deodorizers to stick to it, the pail stunk. We eventually gave up, threw it out, and walked each diaper to the outside trash.

I got one of these to use for my elderly mother. Worked just as well. Much better then a trash can.

The diaper pail is an essential when you have babies still in diapers , it makes it very easy to dispose of the diapers quickly . I just wish there was something more to help with the smell .

I have used a diaper genie with all 3 of my daughter and now my oldest daughter uses one for my grandson. It really helps keep those nasty diapers smells at bay wraps each individual diaper separately the refill bags are so easy to replace I usually disinfect and wipe out with each refill to keep the genie from getting funky smells

The moms I nannied for had the Diaper Genie Signature Pail and both of them and I loved it! For the most part it was great at keeping in all the smells and was easy to use, compared to their last one they stank up the entire house!

This is a life saver with the kids and their diapers. It helps to have a separate trash for diapers and avoid any smells due to it. Easy to replace the bags and looks good too. Must have this in your home with babies!

I’ve found this generally works as it’s supposed to in that it keeps in the scent. I find the bag mechanism noisy and the way the bag holds diapers a little silly. The bags are narrow and are expected to coil within the bin, which works with some variability. The bags have you cut and tie them which is also odd.

My diaper genie broke I used it for awhile but it didn't keep the smell in that well and I found it easier to just take the diapers directly outside
