Great butt pail
We own two of these, one is upstairs and one is downstairs with our changing table. They are the best so that we don’t have to throw diapers away in our regular household trash. They have their own trash bin, I bought my brother one who is expecting his first in the next month and they are looking forward to using it as well. Recommend this product to anyone expecting a baby or that already has a baby

Effective Odor Control with Convenience

Worth it
I was surprised at how many diapers this thing actually holds while holding smells at bay. Money well spent, especially not having to walk to the outside garbage all the time!

Great
I really enjoyed having this product in our nursery, it was such a nice addition and it helped to keep the room free of the smells from any dirty diapers that we had, they only issue I really had was the bags were sometimes difficult to change if any of the bag packaging was slightly mishaped it was hard to fit it in the diaper genie

So time-saving!
The diaper genie is amazing - it saves me so much time (which I hardly have any extra of with a baby) because I don't need to be constantly taking dirty diapers outside to the trash. We empty ours 1-2 times a week, and it keeps my daughter's room smelling fresh. The only catch - you have to make sure you fully stuff the diaper down into the bin, or it won't close properly.

Go to baby shower gift
Look, as a mom I know the diaper pail is one of the most essential parts of a newborn nursery. I LOVE giving this diaper genie out to first time moms. Sure, it’s not as cute as tiny baby clothes or stuffed animals, but a year later they’ll still be using this diaper genie daily while the stuffie piles up in the closet with dozens of others. Trust me that every new mom will love and value getting one of these!!

Love this product because it keeps the smelly diapers not smelly but con is that it doesn’t hold many which leads me to having mult bags of diapers sitting out waiting to be taking to trash which sits so starts smelling so defeats the purpose of the product

Perfect for first time parents
We've purchased one of these off of Amazon and honestly have been loving us since we bought it. I seen the most common complaint is about the bags however I have no complaints seeing as they are very exchangable for generic bags. These trap the smell of messy diapers and keep our room smelling fresh.

Diaper Genie
I thought I did not need it, but after two under 2, I did. The diaper genie helped keep down the smell that would've been if I had disposed of diapers in my kitchen trashcan. I am not getting rid of this even after kiddos.

Didn't know I needed it
I thought this was going to be a baby shower gift that was superfluous and a little over the top in terms of necessity, but I was wrong! It keeps the diaper smell at bay without having to make constant trips outside to the trash, and ESPECIALLY if you have pets that can get into a regular bin... this is a game-changer.

There are cheaper options..
I bought this full price when I was pregnant because I thought it was a must have, everyone was talking about it. I have to be honest, I was underwhelmed with it and ended up giving it away. Firstly the refill bags are expensive for glorified doggie bags. Secondly, it does keep the stench in. I'll give it that. But on the downside of that, I would gag and dry heave when I opened the lid once my kid started solids (you parents all know what I'm talking about about lol). Even just with one or two p00p diapers in there. Oh my lord it stinks so bad in his room for about 30 seconds too long when id open that lid. Anyways, first time parents- please don't fall into the trap of buying all this unnecessary equipment. Save the $$, buy some scented plastic diaper/dog waste bags and maybe a dispenser for it if you're feeling fancy. That's all you need really, which if you hoard plastic bags like the 90% of us, you can easily use those instead for free. Double wrap bc they aren't scented lol

Better than a trash can
It is better at handling odors than a regular trash can with a lid because of the way it seals in the diapers. However, even with regular cleaning and purchasing deodorizers to stick to it, the pail stunk. We eventually gave up, threw it out, and walked each diaper to the outside trash.

Used for my elderly mother
I got one of these to use for my elderly mother. Worked just as well. Much better then a trash can.

Does the job
The diaper pail is an essential when you have babies still in diapers , it makes it very easy to dispose of the diapers quickly . I just wish there was something more to help with the smell .
