dog loves it
my toy aussiedoodle immeadiatly showed me just how much she loved this dry food. When she first saw the bag come in she kept smelling it and would not leave its side. i gave her one to try and she looked at me to give her more. i switched her food to this and she absoluetly loved it. i noticed she was full for a longer period of time and not waiting around for food to fall. She also had a good amount of energy. Her poop never changed consistency and there was no noticible differences in her stool. Very happy i tried this brand that is highly reocmmended.

Not bad, but we prefer our regular pet
Definitely doesn't seem to be a bad product. I fed to my 2 dogs, both small to medium breed. The first day they didn't touch it, day two they either got hungry or curious and ate it pretty quickly.

We have a 3 year old Miniature schnauzer that is super picky. He gets bored with food easily and will go hungry before he eats the food in his bowl. Because he's a miniature schnauzer, I'm always looking for healthy, lean options as he is prone to pancreatitis. Per the feeding instructions on the bag, a less active 20 pound dog should get 7/8 - 1 cup of food a day. I feed one cup, split up for breakfast and dinner and he finishes his bowl. I mixed it with his purina pro plan to start off and he didnt have any stomach upset, diarrhea, etc when transitioning to Acana. He seems to have more energy and looks forward to cleaning his bowl. I think we've found a new food!

Wouldn't purchase
My dog didn't really seem to care for it. I poured it in his bowl, he sniffed it, and walked away. He eventually ate it, but for the price of it, it wouldn't be worth it to purchase again.

My picky dogs new favorite.
I have a chiweenie with a very sensitive stomach and not a huge fan of change. Not only did this not upset his stomach (even after waiting a week to report)but he also devours its. Change is good sometimes!

Zelda loved it
My Mini Goldendoodle Zelda loved the Acana Wholesome Grains Small Breeds food. She seems to be thriving on it I even notice a little more pep in her step. When transitioning her to this I noticed her picking out first. I will definitely be buying this in the future.

Dachshund Approved
If you own a dachshund, you understand how finicky they can be. Switching out brands is normally a challenge, even with slow introductions. During our introduction, my little guy took quite a liking very early on, and it was easy on his digestive system. After fully switching over, I have noticed a huge difference in his coat, which now appears to be very shiny and healthy. My little guy has given his seal of approval! Switching to Acana wholesome grains, to me, was a no-brainer.

A good quality small breed kibble
I like that it is formulated specifically for small breed dog and their nutritional needs. High quality meats are the listed ingredients along with oats. Unfortunately, my picky chihuahua was not very interested.

My dog LOVES this stuff!
I have always been pretty finicky when it comes to giving my maltese the best food out there. We have tried everything from subscription food, specifically made for him, and other high-end quality dog food and treats. I'm sure in doing this, I have created a really picky eater. I waited a day with the bag on the floor before introducing it to him. Well, he wanted none of the waiting. He kept clawing at the bag and persistently moving his bowl towards the bag until I finally gave it to him. Normally, he smells the food and then goes on about his day, coming back when he is desperate. (haha) This didn't last 2 minutes in the bowl. He ate it up quickly. I noticed that it seems more appropriate for his size. I have also not noticed tummy and gas upset that he sometimes gets with other foods. I think we have found a winner here!

My furkid loves it!
I love my dog and I always strive to provide the best for my furry friend. Recently, I received the opportunity to try Acana Wholesome Grains Dry Dog Food Small Breed Recipe Real Chicken Eggs and Turkey for my dog. I like the product ingredient list which is made from real chicken, eggs, turkey and wholesome grains. The kibbles are perfectly sized for her small mouth. The smell of the kibbles are enticing and my furkid absolutely loves it. Mealtime excitement has reached a new level! She will run to her eating station when she hears me preparing her meal. So far in the last few days, there’s no tummy troubles or allergies - just satisfied meals and a contented happy dog. I do highly recommend Acana. Tail wagging good!
My 4 lb Yorkie loves this dog food! The pea-size nuggets are small enough for her tiny little mouth. She normally eats Hill’s Science Diet for small breeds but when I initially mixed the Acana wholesome grains nuggets with the Science Diet nuggets for a slow food transition, she picked out all the Acana nuggets and ate them first. My Yorkie is usually a picky eater but she absolutely loves Acana wholesome grains.

I have two small breed dogs and two large breed ( weights range from 2.5 lbs to 60lbs). All of them loved this food. I loved the small size of the kibble. Appreciated that it does not have an overwhelming smell like a lot of brands. A big bonus is the resealable bag that actually stays closed

My dogs didn't really take to this food , but they did eat some. They are used to their regular food which is Royal Canin chihuahua breed formula. All in all they seemed to enjoy it a little.
