Good alternative
This is a good alternative to a steak for us Veggies! Not perfect, the texture although nice as it’s super smooth makes it less steak like. Aside from this it’s a good size and still tastes very nice, even better with a nice sauce!

Why does it have to 'bleed'
This is really delicious and filling. I really enjoyed it as my dinner however I was confused as to why red liquid came out of it as it was cooking. Being vegetarian doesn't mean I want my food to resemble meat or act like meat!.you can have flavour and attract9ve food without it having to look like meat. Luckily for me it wasn't enough to put me off, but for many it might be.

Not impressed
We try to eat meat free at least a few times a week, so I'm always on the lookout for new things like this try. Unfortunately we weren't impressed with this. The texture wasn't right and it didn't have much taste in our opinion

Good product
I don't particularly miss steak but this was a nice alternative to making up my own seitan. For convenience and flavour really good, even better if you can get it when it's on offer!

This is a great alternative to meat this works well for me as im trying to eat healthy and watch my weight...I have mine with mash potatoe and some gravy ..

Fabulous
This is the best meat alternative I've ever tried. I serve it with green beans, peppercorn sauce and baby potatoes. It's delicious! A definite must try!!

Great alternative for a change
As a non meat eater its good to get an alternative that has a bit more texture than other veggie burger type products.This tasted great , its not like meat so I'm not sure meat eaters would like but makes a difference so is a good alternative if your looking for something different.

Revolting
A friend who is a vegetarian got these for us to eat. They were absolutely revolting, tasted synthetic and even my dog wouldn't eat it

Don't cook it on a BBQ
I bought some of this for a BBQ last summer, and it turned into charcoal really quickly, and it tasted awful, however, I did try it again a couple of weeks ago and cooked it in a pan with some, liquid smoke, onions and peppers, and it was really lovely. Yes it's not meat, it's an alternative, but it's one of the best ones out there.

I'll eat anything but maybe not this unless I'm starving
As a long-term vegan, I've seen a real range of 'fake meat' products, some similar to meat, some not trying to be... This product is just strange, too similar visually, and then kind of disgusting texture and flavor wise. They also shrink massively.

Great alternative
I have been a vegan for a number of years and like trying different products. This steak is a great alternative. The texture is similar. The taste isn't like beef but not too bad either. Makes great burgers.

Not impressed
I am a vegetarian and dislike meaty textures so this wasn't for me unfortunately as too meaty and a strange taste, may suit others though.
