Not bad at all
As far as 'steak' substitutes go, this is pretty decent. The taste is good, but it can be slightly dry.

This tastes so processed! Absolutely ghastly and artificial both in looks and taste. Never again - yuck

Taste, texture and look is 'off'
Did not enjoy this product. I'm a veggi and it did not go down well. Maybe a meat eater trying to reduce might enjoy it but it wasn't for me.

Not much like a steak, but quite nice
This doesn't really taste like the steaks I remember, but it's still a fairly nice product. Not the best on the plant-based market, but quite nice to use when you want just to make something steak-like. I have to admit; I actually tend to use this like a burger patty and make a great burger with it!

Chewy
As a vegetarian of 4 years finding a steak alternative was quite hard . When I first discovered this I found it overly spicy and too chewy however, after re trying them a few months later the spice seemed a lot better seen as though I’d looked it for less time

Very tasty, almost too meaty!
As a vegetarian I am always on the lookout for new veg options, especially for summer BBQ’s. This tasted great, is healthy and hurt no animals. Winning. The only drawback for me, is how meaty it actually tasted. I am not a meat fan. Great product and a wonderful alternative to beef

Good vegetarian alternative.
I cook this for my vegetarian partner, and on "veggie" nights we might have these. I don't think it's a true alternative for steak but it's good for vegetarians and those wanting to cut down on meat intake.

Really nice vegan steak
It is tasty, with good texture and easy to cook. My non-vegan friend enjoyed it as well. Would recommend using a sauce. Will definitely be buying this again, as it is one of my favourite products by vivera.

Great replacement
This is a great meat replacement. The texture is really chewy as well as flavoursome, great for vegans who want to mix up textures a bit on their plate. Quick and easy to cook too, so was great for a treat night when we were feeling lazy.

Good alternative
This is a good alternative to a steak for us Veggies! Not perfect, the texture although nice as it’s super smooth makes it less steak like. Aside from this it’s a good size and still tastes very nice, even better with a nice sauce!

Why does it have to 'bleed'
This is really delicious and filling. I really enjoyed it as my dinner however I was confused as to why red liquid came out of it as it was cooking. Being vegetarian doesn't mean I want my food to resemble meat or act like meat!.you can have flavour and attract9ve food without it having to look like meat. Luckily for me it wasn't enough to put me off, but for many it might be.

Not impressed
We try to eat meat free at least a few times a week, so I'm always on the lookout for new things like this try. Unfortunately we weren't impressed with this. The texture wasn't right and it didn't have much taste in our opinion

Good product
I don't particularly miss steak but this was a nice alternative to making up my own seitan. For convenience and flavour really good, even better if you can get it when it's on offer!

Nice
This is a great alternative to meat this works well for me as im trying to eat healthy and watch my weight...I have mine with mash potatoe and some gravy ..
