OXO Good Grips Chef’s Mandoline 2.0

Absolutely love this. Very sturdy really easy to use and clean. Stores away really well. Easy to select the different thickness that you would like. Would definitely recommend this to my family and friends

The OXO Mandoline is amazing product. It is a all in one cutter and slicer. The sturdy stand makes it so easy to use. You can adjust the thickness and type by just moving the dial at the side. I love the fact that it has everything in one and you don't have a change blades all the time. It took a bit of practice before you could get the mandoline to slice and dice easily. I used it plenty of time for salads, om potatoes and even on fruits. Storing the mandoline was easy and so was cleaning it as you could put all the parts in the dishwasher. The only thong I didn't like was that it was sometimes difficult to put the vegetables or fruit in the holders to slice, especially if the vegetables or salad was small. Otherwise this product is amazing

The mandoline was easy to use over a plate or chopping board and gave excellent results for the majority of fruit & veg I tried it on. Definitely worth rinsing as soon as you've finished with it as cleaning it once the remnants of veg were dried on was more tricky. It felt very safe to use (which had been my initial key concern), and the blade is easy to remove and switch around to give a different style of cut. The different options on the cutting thickness were really handy. I quickly got used to the best speed to move the fruit/veg across it as when you go too fast the chopped pieces fly out away from the chopping board . Overall it was perfect to use when I had several different items to cut up, but I wouldn't use it for just one item purely because of the extra washing up required

A great product.. Although I was quite nervous of chopping my fingers off in the beginning I was really surprised at how easy it was to use and also very sturdy I have used it several times now and find it so convenient for chopping and slicing and also very easy to clean

I had never used a mandoline before, and now I see what I’ve been missing. The OXO mandolins is large and can be used in so many different ways. The different settings are great, I have used it to slice vegetables and make fries. The blade is very sharp (so be careful) so it slices easily. There is also a lock for when it’s not in use for safety which is a great feature. I’d highly recommend if you’re fed up of spending time slicing vegetables while cooking

As someone who eats a lot of fruit and vegetables a mandoline is always a useful tool. I’ve tried several and this one is definitely the best. The food holder and sturdy leg make it a safe option for a clumsy person like me. I’ve used it on potatoes, cabbage, carrots, apples, courgettes, onion, root ginger and the results have been consistent and exactly as expected. The range of settings gives plenty of scope for different cuts. I tested the mandoline on olives (small and fiddly often leading to sliced hands) and hard boiled eggs (often end up squashed rather than sliced). With this one again the results were spot on - no cuts, no squashing just cleanly sliced. If you have an airfryer then this is the perfect tool to create true potato crisps. Cleaning was easy and it doesn’t take up as much storage space as some of its rivals. All in all a great product that I would highly recommend.

What an amazing machine! I can now power through slicing almost anything with ease. One of the best things is just how thin I get go with it making my food go much further. Makes my slicing look so much more professional and neat just like a proper knife trained chef. A great help when making salads look delicious and straight out of restaurant kitchen.

I was really looking forward to using this, but now I have it, I realise I chop more than I slice. In the age of air fryers, I thought it was going to be French fries for days. Unfortunately, they come out the size of matchsticks! I have an air fryer with a paddle that rotates, so these were a complete broken, mashed disaster. To use, this was like a work-out to get the French Fry cuts. I'm not sure if it is because I'm quite small and the height of this just wouldn't let me get my back into it, but I found it quite difficult to get the momentum going at first. Used it for mushroom soup and thought it would be perfect to cut down on time, but the end product wasn't very aesthetically pleasing. Thankfully, it was soup, or I wouldn't have carried on. I do wish this could have a wider option to allow bigger cuts for chip, crudities etc. I would use this all the time if I could do that with it. Finally, it is quite large and needs a lot of room for storage. It also doesn't fit in my sink.

I love the OXO Good Mandoline! It has been a god send when it comes to slicing potatoes, aubergines, carrots etc. It has saved me a lot of time and the good thing is that the clean up is really easy compared to other similar products I have used!

Easy to use and great slicer. I thought it would be much more difficult to use so was pleasantly surprised. The only thing to note is that it is quite big so tricky to store somewhere discreetly.

First impressions of the OXO Good Grips Chef’s Mandoline 2.0 were how well made it was compared to my last one – its solid and as there are sharp blades that made me feel more comfortable. Yes, you still need to be careful but the robust feel of the blade, the slide the food holder and the raised leg left me trusting the product from the start. Typical for me I have not looked at the instructions to may be missing out but the symbols on the slider make perfect sense. I practically liked the waffled potato setting. I found that soft fruit such as tomatoes (mine were just about to pass their best) mushed instead of sliced – but all other vegetables cut nicely. I also liked that when done I just ran under the hot tap, and it was all clean. So simple. The holder slots under the unit when not in use – so its tidy. If you are after a Mandoline then this is the best, I have tried and would recommend.

This makes me so, so happy! It is so easy to use and the grip on the handle actually works! I’ve used all the functionality except for the waffle but am excited to try that!

This is a fantastic product for slices ,much safer than a knife. The final result is always perfect cut vegetables. Well made and strong materials. Easy to clean. Very sharp. Just one con, I would have preferred a little big thicker slice for chips, but maybe is just a personal choice. Highly recommended, strong, metallic not like the cheap plastic ones
