OXO 2 Cup Fat Separator, useful device for removing fat from meat juice. Simply pour meat juice through strainer at the top, allow the fat to separate and pour the meat juice into gravy. The fat can then be discarded. Lightweight and easy to use, bit difficult to clean.

It works
This is a good-looking and good-quality product. It does what it says, which is very handy. But what I'm not sure about is: 1. It's quite a big jug, not very easy to store if you have limited space. 2. It's not easy to clean the spout, fingers or bottle brush can't really fit in,

Well made
I have used the fat separater jug a few times for gravy and it works well. It looks stylish and it is well made. I think it would be useful to strain lumpy sauce or custard, but I I haven't tried that yet. It is a great item for someone who likes to cook from scratch, is conscious of healthy eating and likes quality kitchen accessories.

Does the job it is supposed to; well.
The OXO fat separator makes the issue of removing fat from gravy significantly easier. There are other ways to remove fat, but this does so cleanly and without mess. The added strainer means that sprigs of herbs or other bits can be removed without the need to dirty another dish. The size is good for a family meal and it seems to hold up to the hot liquid added.

Awesome helper
Really an awesome addition to the kitchen! The size of the jug is just right for the amount of gravy you need without having to store it. The grate at the top is an amazing addition, leaving all of the little chunks out of the liquid. The handle is just the right size and shape, there is no way to spill anything unintentionally. Thw rubber stopper makes all the difference. Works like a charm and it is now an essential part of my kitchen.

Game changer for me!
I was lucky enough to be picked to test this product, I’ve never really made my own gravy but this inspired me to do so. Googled a couple of recipes and this is an absolute game changer for me. The chunkiness of the handle and the sturdiness of the jug was impressive. I love how it’s separates the fat and the meat juices and “proper” gravy certainly tastes much better. I look forward to finishing off my festive roasts with the help of this jug.
