I'm not a vegetarian anymore but always curious on alternative veg options. These were absolutely gorgeous, personally I don't think I would be able to taste a difference in a taste test. Very filling too

Just yummy
I am a long term vegetarian of over 20yrs, I missed the pastry on pork pies, but not the meat. So finally a delicious pastry, yummy scrummy vegetarian mini pie. Great for snacks, filling, ideal for a packed lunch. However they're very expensive compared to meat products, for they're size, as cheap ingredients, nothing fancy. So a lower price would be appreciated or more for the price they are currently

4 mini no pork pies
Great for non meat eaters they are very tasty and filling I would highly recommend.
I had expected these to be like a pork pie but without the pork, but no the only similarity is the look before you bite into them. First the pastry was horrible, rather like the early supermarket saver own brand pies where it somehow was too hard yet greasy at the same time. Next the filling, well I was expecting the texture and flavour to be a bit like pork but this was nothing like pork in any way. Why not just be honest about these and sell them as a new product and stop trying to be deceitful about it. Pork pie alternative it is not but even ignoring the false advertising it was rather a let down in both taste and texture. Thank god I bought these in the reduced section, at least the wildlife (visiting badger and a fox) appreciated the other 3 and for 50p it was worth it to make them happy. At full price I would have been very unhappy.

just why?
theres something about these veggie products that angers me, if its not a pork pie and you dont want it to be a pork pie why use the words pork pie in the product at all?!
i was expecting these to mimmick pork pies like more veggie imitation preducts do but they are not attempting to make them like pork pies at all! i dont understand the point of them
I bought these as my niece is trying to cut down her meat intake we both thought they were tasty great flavours and would have again even though they were a bit pricey! Fully recommend

Delicious! Gimme, Gimme, Gimme!
Wow, what can I say. These are delicious! Picked some up in my local supermarket the other week as it was the first time i'd seen them and so glad I did. The pastry was so yummy and the filling was to die for! Will definitely be buying again!

Yummy!
Having been a vegetarian for 6 years, it is often hard to find new and exciting picnic foods but these are simply divine! The pastry tastes lovely and the vegetable filling is incredible!

Game Changer
I missed pork pies when I became vegan, was so happy when I found them. They have a really nice texture when eating and they are full of flavour. Only downfall is the price they are a little expensive but worth it for the occasional treat.

No-pork pies
Overall these are brilliant, if like me, you are a vegetarian that misses a pork pie. The texture and taste are both very similar to pork pies and it is good that the plant-based food alternative element has such a plentiful choice nowadays. I will recommend this to both my meat-eating and non-meat-eating friends.

Tasty pies
Not a fan of pies, but these were really tasty! The only complain would be the price, a little bit expensive for the quantity that you receive. Otherwise, highly recommended!

Love these!
I’m one of those people who love pork pie pastry but not the pork! But luckily for me my hubby likes the insides - so I had to try these and they were lovely, great pastry and no nasty bits inside! I love the veggie interior - this is the first time I can say I finished the whole pie! - I will be buying these in the future!

Nice.
Pork pie like pastry, but that's about it. Not pretending to be a pork pie at all. It had a vegetable / lentil like filling instead. A little dry but tastes good with a dollop of pickle. A nice alternative.
