These are delicious. My mum has been vegetarian since she was 11 so I grew up a vegetarian and still am now at 22.
Both of us adore these. No fake meat in sight! Just delicious and wholesome veg! I’ve never had a “proper” pork pie to compare but if it’s anything like these, I can see why they are so loved. I would describe these as essentially a little water crust circle/pie of yumminess inclosed in which there’s a filling of a mixture of perfectly seasoned lentils and veggies. Sounds boring but don’t knock them unless you’ve tried, they are incredibly flavourful and as far from lacking in flavours as you can get. Not at all spicy but have a “kick” that leaves your mouth watering and wanting to eat the rest of the packet!
Our only complaint is that they are expensive. We would purchase much more frequently if they were more affordable. Sadly, we can currently only justify purchasing when on offer. I would eat daily if I could afford to - yes they really are that nice!

Love these
I love these! The only downside is the price. They're a lovely red lentil pie, NOT a like for like meat replacement. Not dry at all. The flavours are insane. I buy when I see them on offer as they're quite expensive.

Expensive and a little dry, but tasty
These are really expensive for the size they are (very small). They also are a little dry and crumble a lot, so it's a bit messy. However, they do taste really nice. I only buy them when they are on special, because I couldn't justify paying the full price for these.
I’ve bought these around 5 times and I do like the flavour. Not quite pork pie flavouring but does taste nice. Only thing is quite dry so you defo need a drink!
As a veggies, I sometimes think that I miss out on snack food when others are tucking into pork pies, sausage rolls etc. I tried these on a whim. Cutting one in half, it was bit more crumbly than I had anticipated. The pastry tended to fall apart. The meatless filling was quite tasty. Not really what I remember of a ‘pork pie’ filling, but nice enough to fill that snack gap that I was missing out on.
I can't eat pork so gave up 'pork pies' years ago. However , it is impossible to find anything with hot water crust pastry. These are the answer. No they're not a pork pie but filled with a delicious filling which includes peppers, green lentils and carrot. They are very tasty and very filling. Excellent buy and a regular on my shopping list.
Before i was vegan i didn't like Pork pies but now they have these alternatives they are tasty, have just enough pastry to them for someone who doesn't like a lot and taste super nutritious too
No no no Hiddidy, this product cannot be named a ‘pork pie’! No sure what you were thinking of,but these pies are no resemblance to a pork pie! Vegetarian hand pie would have been much more suitable, not in the slightest misleading! To be fair,to some people these are probably very tasty, but sadly not for me,found filling to be to strong in flavour and the pastry wasn’t great either,a little stodgy! Exspensive disappointment on my behalf!
Just stick to your quiches and other pies please, these are really quite good,Melton Mowbray will be relived!

Not bad
Although tasty , I did not like the texture, I found them too stodgy. However - when I cut them into slices , I enjoyed the taste and combination of the pastry and content with salad .

Delicious treats
Although this isn't close to a pork pie in flavour, it's its own thing, it's a delicious snack! I love the texture of the pastry and that it's filled with veggie goodness, and the price is great as well! I'd definitely recommend it as an alternative snack!
Tried these pies. Even though I'm not keen on vegan or vegetarian food ( only ones left at train station). Pleasently surprised great pastry with a wholesome tasty filling
