Remington Limitless X5 Rotary Shaver

This shaver was not as good as it should be at this price point. I misses a lot of hairs and would probably be faster and easier to use an actual razor

After getting another one sent to me as the first one had a defect, this shaver wasn't the best for me as it kept on pulling my hair instead of giving my face a close shave. Also when in the shower, as soon as the blades get wet, it doesn't work the best and barely cuts. The best part was the trimmer attachment, it really cuts quickly without it getting jammed. tT

Value for the price range but lacks finish. Light weight, wet & dry, usb charging, pivot ball, trimmer attachment. All these features are great for the price you pay. Have been using a high end Foil Shaver for 15 years. I understand the difference between foil & rotary shavers regarding skin sensitivity but even after 4 weeks of trialing the rotary, which is considered enough time. I have returned to my faithful foil shaver. Being older with thicker hair, reviews tell me the rotary should be better but left irritated skin both on the neck & cheeks wet or dry. The foil shaver has a definite advantage for a closer shave.I gave the shaver to my son to use it & he has experienced similar results but he is impressed how fast it is to shave & given more time could see an improvement with the irritation & hopefully a closer shave.

First time using an electric shaver as I like a close shave, this did a better job than I expected but did take a while to yet use to the direction to shave with my hair. Loved the fact that I could use in the shower. Definitely going to give electric shaver more of a chance in the future.

While this is certainly not a high end shaver it gets the job done. Nice feel and grip ( on the light side). The heads don’t slide as smoothly over the skin on a dry shave but works well with a light lather of shaving cream. Remarkably close shave on the difficult neck area (actually better than a pricier shaver). Not a fan of the usb charging ( it only includes the cable) but would be perfect for travel. If the battery dies, a few minutes of charge will allow you to do a quick shave with no problem.

The shaver is very easy to use, conforms to the lines of the face, and leaves no mess with a reservoir that is easy to empty. The blades occasionally pull the skin and it takes a few goes to get a shave that’s close to the skin but the results are great. The stubble guard is a great addition as I like to keep a bit of a facial hair too.

personally I found that the shaver seemed to pull on my facial hair more compared to other brands that I have tried in the past, it does leave you with a nice close shaver tho so overall it gets the job done.

This is the 3rd electric shaver I've had. It definitely shaves closer and faster than the others. I have a beard but I like to keep my neck stubble free. This shaver struggled to shave my neck at first, but after my skin got used to it, it works quite well. It's not a completely clean shave but this may also improve with regular use. However it causes no irritation at all. The shaver is very easy to clean and is light and comfortable in my hand. I recommend it.

It took about 10 days for my face and whiskers to become use to the shaver. I have used a blade shaver mainly for 30 plus years. While on Army Exercises I used a battery shaver to knock down the whiskers off while in the field and this shaver would also do the same and the ease of cleaning. The USB charging is good and it will be good to use with a power bank to keep charged. The shaver is nice to hold and very comfortable. Once I got use to the shaver my shaving time was reduced back to almost the same as the blade shaving time. Having to shave 4 days a week for work and other times when attending military training my face has dried out a bit but using an after shave lotion has helped reduce the dry skin. Another benefit is not having shaving cuts and having to stop them if wearing a light coloured shirt, Overall the shaver is good and it will be interesting to see how long the blades last when cutting through a few days growth. Id recommend the shaver to anyone on blood thinners.

Very nice shave, was good on My thick hair, I did forget to take pics but will upload next time I use, the light weight if the shaver is great to use.

I used the shaver for about three weeks trialing a few hair growths. I tried a 1 day shave and it does a good job but left my face feeling like a bit of razor burn, next use was 1 day shave but with shaving oil again not a bad job but still left my face with a razor burn feel. I used it on a 4 day shave and it didn't like tthe growth, it more pulled at the hair and gave a razor burn. The feel in the hand is nice and comfortable. The Photos are of a 4 day shave took a bit to get it done, all in all not to bad but woun't go out and buy it again.

Great shaver with two heads it was time to shave the beard and this was a great product to do that with all in one. shaved it down to stubble then clean shaven with the 3 headed razor

I receive the Remington Limitless X5 Rotary Shaver a few weeks ago and I really wanted to give it a fair chance so I could give it the best possible review. The razor was quiet. That was a big plus in my book, because I really didn't want something that was so noisy it was going to either blast my ear drums or worse yet, wake up my wife. My first shave was a dry shave and while it was fast, my neck was soon on fire with shaving rash. I decided to try again with a skin sensitive shaving gel but again I had a massive burning rash on my neck. I followed the tips under the heading of “Shaving” and “Shaving Tips” and this time decided as the shaver is waterproof, to shave while in the shower using the skin sensitive shaving gel. I still got a burning rash on my neck. I feel I have tried long enough. Aside from the burning neck rash, the shaver struggled to cut all the hairs on my face. In more difficult areas it struggled even more. For the reasons above I can not recommend.

Shaver does it’s job ok but does struggle with thick stubble I used both attachments as it comes with a trimmer attachment for thicker hairs, which works well with no nicks but lacks a bit in power. The rotary blade attachment works well and leaves a close shave but does struggle with thick stubble as I had to tidy up with a razor, so would be a great product for someone with light facial hair as it can be time consuming with thicker facial hair.

As someone who normally uses a razor I was really hoping this electric shaver would live up to the hype. Unfortunately a combination of my thick hair and sensitive skin meant that this electric shaver caused more grief than expected. None the less, the product seems to be quite good quality and comes with a nice set of accessories. Unfortunately this just isn’t for me.
