Holy grail!
The L'oreal Magic Retouch spray is my holy grail... Although I don't use it to cover greys, I love this product for covering thin spots in my hairline when my hair is up. It is fantastic for giving the illusion of a fuller hairline. The product is very easy to use and gives amazing coverage that lasts for days. This product is a staple in my hair routine and everyday life, I'll always continue to buy this. The shade range and colour matches are perfect too!

Good in a pinch
Mostly used to cover greys on my temples and hair part ... found it can stain the scalp and need to carefully cover ears to be able to get a decent coverage on the temples. I wouldn't use all the time but good in a pinch when you run out of time but need to hide the greys.

No thanks, didn't work
didn't cover up any of the greys, dried my hair out and when touched the colour came out on my hands. Good for a few hours of touch up, for an evening event but I wouldn't rely on it.

Hides that re-growth!
I love this product! It helps with covering up my greys along hair part until my next hair appointment! Covers well, is easy to use and gives me confidence.

Excellent for covering grey
I really love this product and use it all the time. It has really good grey coverage that will last until your next wash. When using it I cover my face with a clear face shield just to prevent getting any in my eyes and spray it about 30cms away using a continuous spray. If I get any on my skin it washes off easily with soapy water. If I spray too heavily in one area I just rub it with a tissue to spread it out evenly. There is a good selection of colours to choose from and a can lasts me a good month. It is also easy to carry around in your bag for quick touch-ups. Couldn't live without it now. Great for inbetween dying. Love it!!!

Fantastic in between appointments
Really easy to use, super convenient- comes with glove. Quick to use. It’s not something I would have purchased but now I have used it I would definitely again. My hair dresser is going on maternity leave so perfect timing to try it

Goodbye Grey Hair
Love this product. I'm currently pregnant and don't like colouring my hair a lot. I use dark brown. It's brilliant when I'm so busy I don't have time to colour my own hair. I always make sure I have one somewhere in the house. I also love that it's small but holds a lot of colour. Perfect size for my small handbag.

Not bad not great
This product whilst did cover my greys temporarily did cause my hair to feel quite crunchy where sprayed on. When I changed my hair colour it became quite an impractical product for me as the colour range was too limited for a seamless blend

Covers roots, but colour transfers.
I think the colour quality of this spray is good, thick and natural looking. I was however, disappointed that I usually get overspray, which is nearly impossible not to do with the side of face area. When you are using dark colours, the overspray is very noticeable and annoying having to clean up the mess made. I've also noticed some colour transfer to my hands if I happen to touch the areas I have sprayed, even up to a day later. On the plus side, this colour coverage lasted me for 3-4 days, which I think is amazing. I would love to see L'oreal find a way to make the spray more adjustable for different areas or come up with a way to address the overspray. Perhaps it can be combined with a mascara wand type of retouch product.

Works a treat
Very easy to use covers up regrowth very well. The only thing I would recommend is to cover your face as the spray might go onto your skin

Goto for inbetween Salon!
Great for a touch up to beleyage on a nightout! Sets great and doesnt smudge/leak in the weather - leaves no residue - but cover face as can have fallout on your makeup!

Good
During covid this product was wonderful while waiting to get back to the hairdresser. I use it all the time now to cover the greys in between hair appointments. Overall I would recoment this.

Good for small areas
I’ve purchased this a few times now and have been happy each time - I use it to darken the baby hairs around my hairline where it’s thinning, and I’m (im)patiently waiting for my hair to grow thicker in around my temples after years of tight hairstyles and pregnancy hormones. It is very sticky, so I don’t think I’d ever use it to cover large areas of greys or thinning hair, but for small patches it does the job well.
