Lovely treat for your skin

A lovely, light, refreshing serum to add to my morning and night time routine. I had a few dry patches on my face (pregnancy joys) that have smoothed out with only a few applications of the Lancome Advanced Genifique Sensitive Serum! I use it underneath my regular moisturiser (SPF in the morning, extra creamy at night) and have found this serum complements both my morning and night moisturisers.

Would buy!

I really liked this product. I will go out and buy this product once I have finished this bottle. My skin Is so much more clearer and my pores have reduced in size!

Not my cup of tea

I used the product for a while and I liked how it was thin and went on easy. It easily absorbed into the skin. I personally didn’t like the smell so based on that I wouldn’t buy it again and there are other comparable products out there. There is also extra packaging as you need to combine two solutions when you open it. This isn’t favourable as more packaging means that there’s more unnecessary waste. I’m sure the two solutions could have come combined in the first instance. Give it a shot if you’re keen

Luxe face serum

The first few applications somehow my face felt stung. It smells nice and very lightweight, not oily and easily absorbed. I have a very dry skin. I found this serum doesn’t moisturise or enhanced my moisturiser like the other serums that I tried previously. After a month of trialing, I don’t see any difference on my skin. I’ll keep using until it finishes and hope I can see results.

Sliky and smells amazing

The product is really easy to use, smell amazing and feels so beautiful on the skin, I was in the middle of a brake out when I starting using it, and it actually kept it tame, would recommend.

An easy to use, luxurious serum

This serum has a pleasant smell and texture. Upon initial use, you have to combine the two serums - it's a little gimmicky, but fun regardless. I found this serum calming on my skin and it has helped to reduce some redness in my cheeks. It is comfortable to wear and left my skin feeling hydrated and plump, with no sticky residue. I can't say that I noticed any reduction in fine lines or wrinkles after 1 month of use, but perhaps with prolonged use, I may start to see some results there. I was disappointed to see it was only a 20ml bottle. I tend to expect serums to come in a 30ml bottle. At $120, I feel like it is expensive for the amount you receive and the results. For that reason, I don't think I would repurchase at full price, however, I shall enjoy using the remainder of this bottle while it lasts.

Magik in a bottle

I was really excited when the package arrived intact and was ready to try it. I’ve used face serums before but never from Lancôme. I love reading and learning about new products so was disappointed that there was little info. Other than that, the serum was amazing! It was magik luxury in a bottle! I noticed the difference with my skin within 2-3 nights of using it. It didn’t irritate my sensitive skin and just absorbed in within a few minutes without feeling overly dry or too sticky prior to applying night cream. I noticed my face was much smoother, softer and a little more firmer than it use to be and my complexion appeared brighter with less noticeable flaws. Will continue to use the serum until the bottle is empty to see the full difference it makes but so far I think it’s a really great serum.

Nice serum

Using the serum I noticed my skin felt fresh and cleaner for longer - especially with having to wear face masks a lot more. I wasn’t getting any of the skin problems from mask wearing that I had previously been getting. It is something I will continue to use and will look for out only the shelves once finished. The only thing I didn’t like about the product was it had a mild smell to it that wasn’t overly pleasant, but it quickly disappeared after applying it to my face.

Luxurious and gentle serum.

Beautifully gentle, this serum has a luxurious feel that is gentle on even the most sensitive skin. Calming any red spots and smoothing over rough skin, this serum has a soft fragrance that adds to the opulence of the product. While it wasn’t as effective on severely sun damaged skin as other targeted products, it was more calming and effective on other undamaged areas. Would highly recommend for anyone with sensitive skin and probe to redness.

Expected more

I have sensitive skin so was keen to try a high quality product that was designed to treat visible signs of aging while being kind to sensitive skin. When applied, the scent is lovely and the texture is absorbed well into the skin. It applied well with moisturiser and makeup. However, after using the product for 40 days, I was disappointed to notice no drastic change to my skin. My skin may have been slightly less red, but there was no change to my skin's texture or the size of my pores. The product may have prevented future aging, but unfortunately it did not lessen any existing fine lines.

Unique Génifique

The most unique serum I've ever tried! Activated when you open the cap for the first time, the blue concentrate gets released, then shake to blend. Used at night for 4 weeks has already shown such big improvements to overall tone and texture. An intense skin recovery concentrate that's 10/10.

Skin-smoothing

After use, I can feel and see my skin being smoother, softer and more hydrated but this effect doesn't carry through the next day. Will definitely have to use this for longer to see if it's worth the price tag.
