Thick mushroom soup
I love the thickness and richness of the mushroom soup! Easy to prepare and ready in under 5 minutes. I got two meals out of it since it is delicious and I want to savour its taste.

Creamy and flavoursome
I could not believe this came out of a packet. It was truly enjoyable, flavoursome and so creamy. I was so impressed with the taste, and the hint of thyme throughout was so enjoyable. I could easily serve this as a midweek dinner meal, and I know it would be enjoyed with some crusty bread. Brilliant.

Creamy - but could be creamier!
I wasn't sure what to expect with this soup. Historically I've not liked mushroom soups much, especially when they're too watery. I was pleasantly surprised! It's creamy with a smooth texture, and a very mild flavour. You might do well to add a bit of salt when heating it. I meant to take a photo but, well, I got a bit over-eager and ate it all in one sitting. My only criticism is that it could be creamier. If 'water' is a 0, and 'thick as mashed potato' is a 10, this would be a 2 or 3. I'd personally have preferred a 4-6, a very thick soup, for a soup in a pouch. Overall quite happy with the soup! It'd also be great used as a base for a sauce.

I’m a big fan of mushroom based soups and in comparison with other supermarket products this one was average. The mushroom flavour was lacking for me. The texture was really nice though and very creamy.

Great to take to the office for lunch
I took this creamy mushroom soup to the office for my lunch. I put it in a bowl and heated it up in the microwave. I really enjoyed this soup. It was really filling cause sometimes when you eat soup you’re still hungry but this soup fed me. well good flavours quick and easy.

Easy and quick meal
It was very easy to heat up and quick meal when you don’t feel like cooking. I added some croutons so it can be a quick lunch. Great for a lazy day or even for a back up meal in the pantry.

Strong mushroom flavour
Great quality soup, strong mushroom flavour with a lovely creaminess. Could also use this as a sauce on steak or add a bit of cream and use as a pasta sauce. Interested to try more of these soup of the day as the taste is much nicer than canned soups.

Easy, Convenient Soup
Heinz Soup of the Day Mushroom and Thyme is a convenient and easy weeknight meal. It was very easy to prepare, although it would be good if you could heat it inside the pouch rather than in a separate container. It is quite a creamy mushroom soup and tasted as advertised.

This soup comes in a satchel so it's easy to open and pour into a bowl, just microwave and eat. It's a quick and convenient meal for one person. It is slightly pricey so I would get it when it's on special.
