Soup of the Day : Green Pea
Heinz has always been in the soup game, and the range hasnt always been a winner but a good warming Pea and Ham soup especially in these odd rainstorms we are getting where i live is just the ticket. The only issue i could have with it is that it needed a little more seasoning added but the general flavour was pretty much on point. Not too bad at all

Delicious
I was quite surprised with this. The flavour is very good with a thick slightly chunky texture that ‘plops’ off the spoon, not runny. You can easily see the peas, pieces of ham along with carrots and small chunks of potato. The serving size was a good sized single serve. I would definitely eat this again.

Tates better than it looks
I was a little hesitant to try this at first as it didn't look very appealing, but over all it was ok and filling. It could do with a little more seasoning as out of the packet product but it is easier to add then take out salt to cater for all references. Overall a decent pantry staple.

Soups
Packing is very nice. To get the whole lot of soup out realy had to squeeze the packing. Soup was tasty but a little thick for my liking. Not a lot of ham pieces more vegetables then ham.

Strong pea flavour
It was quite rich and has a strong pea flavour. There are not only ham but some other vegetables too, so it can be a proper meal too. It would be great if there is a smaller packet as it might be a big portion just for one.

Green pea (and ham) soup
Soup that doesn't have that can taste. The soup have green peas and small amount of ham, and along with vegetables that's not mentioned in the name such as carrots and potatoes. Personally thinks it taste abit better with extra pepper on top!

Deliciously Easy and Healthy!
I recently tried the Green Pea with Ham soup, and it was fantastic! The flavor was delicious and comforting, making it the perfect warm-up on a chilly day. Tastes awful
This soup tasted absolutely awful. I could only stomach a couple of mouthfuls. It was under seasoned had just had a dreadful taste to it - not like I was expecting it to taste at all.

Quick and easy to make soup
Heinz soup of the day green pea with ham was a pleasant surprise it was extremely quick and easy to make as the product is pre-cooked and all you need to do is heat it up, the soup had a classic creamy pea taste and was quite smooth and slightly seasoned, overall it tasted very nice my only complaint is that there wasn’t much or any bacon which would have taken the soup to another level, but overall for the price and time needed to cook I wouldn’t definitely recommend

Large Single Serve, Low on 'Ham'
This had a good flavour. Was a large single serve but would have preferred it to be a double serve for feeding family lunch in the future. The third ingredient is 'manufactured ham' which sounds awful, but after looking it up, it is actually cured, formed ham. Which is normal and doesn't sound frankenstein-ish. The only thing is, there is so very little of any noticeable ham at all.

Quite tasty
Great price for the amount of soup you get in the packaging, personally this could last me over 2 seperate dinners. Once the soup was cooked, I could smell the ham and it smelt quite burnt which wasn’t appetising, but will say that it tastes different to what it smells. It’s tasty and the texture is thick with the potato and pees mixed together. I’m impressed with Heinz.

Almost as good as homemade!
This soup was quite delicious and reminded me of the pea and ham soup my aunty used to make. It was very filling and therefore, I didn’t make it through the entire pouch for lunch :) Bot the greatest photo given the product isn’t super appealing to the eye but wanted to show how much I managed to get through haha

Well balanced salt levels
The pea flavour of the soup is most dominant, with the ham pieces and flavour being fairly minimal. This does mean that unlike many pea and ham soups, it isn't overly salty. The soup has small pieces of carrot and potato along with the occasional whole pea. The pouch is foil lined, so you need to empty it into a bowl etc for heating in the microwave. 2 minutes on full per the instructions was the perfect temperature (1200 watt microwave). Worth a buy if you like pea soup.
