Game changer
I haven't used a GHD in a few years. I have very thick long hair and needed something with wider plates. Then I was selected to try out the new Chronos wide plate styler. Impressed is an understatement. I did have to do more than one pass, but my hair styles easily and stayed straight with only 1 pass touch ups in the morning. Sleek design and I loved the on, off and ready tones. It heats up so quickly which was great. My hair was straight and shiny for days. And takes at least 10 minutes less styling time than my cloud nine. I would absolutely recommend this product. As I said I have crazy thick hair. Anyone with "normal" hair would get away with the 1 pass, mine is just in a world of it's own. Lol

Time Saver for Long Hair!
I’m completely floored at how much the GHD Chronos cut my straightening time in half. I have a LOT of long, textured and ‘humidity sensitive’ hair. Using a regular narrow styler takes me approx 50 minutes (I do have below average vision so I suppose this could contribute). The wider plates on this allowed more hair to be passed through at once. This took me only 20! I would have never thought that possible. Very easy to hold and the weight is perfect, did not get a sore wrist. Absolutely 10/10 would recommend - particularly for those with a lot of hair.

Quick, smooth & aesthetic styling
Using the new ghd chronos max was a breeze, even with my thick, hip-length hair. It straightened super quickly and kept my hair smooth for a couple of days, which was a win! I loved that it’s smaller and lighter than my usual ghd max, making it easier to handle, plus it heated up in no time. The sleek, bright white color of the straightener also looks really aesthetic. The only downside was that the rounded plates made it a bit tricky to get close to my roots or tackle my cowlick. Overall, it’s perfect for fast, sleek styling, especially on thicker or longer hair.

Amazing for curly hair
Blown away by how quickly this straightens my hair, truly did straighten in one pass. The ghd chronos mac heats up so quickly & is very easy to use. My hair was shiny and frizz free. I can’t wait to keep using it. Game changer for thick curly hair.

Just wow
Great product! Really liked the wider plates compared to regular size GHD. Noticeably less time to straighten hair compared to other branded straightener. Naturally have thick wavy hair and was able to straight in no time at all. Would definitely recommend this product!

GHD chronos max review
I have been trying the GHD chronos max and am absolutely obsessed with it. I have an older GHD straightener and other brands of straighteners but as I have such long and thick hair it usually takes me an hour for straight hair however it only takes me like 20-30mins with this machine and it was so easy to use and so much quicker. I found that my hair was significantly less frizzy and had a gorgeous natural and bouncy shine to it which I love. It’s hard to tell if it last longer than other tools as it’s summer in Australia and I’ve been using it for my hairstyles for work on 30 degree days but I would say it lasts longer. And for my hair it did not fully straighten it on one pass I would go over it a few times so there was no frizz ness. Overall I loved this tool and will be using it every time I need to straighten my hair :)

Game Changer!
I received this item from GHD and Home Tester Club in exchange for my honest review. The GHD Chronos Max is a game changer and has exceeded my expectations, as a time poor mum with postpartum dry and frizzy hair it’s been a struggle to style my hair and take the frizz. Compared to my GHD platinum, the GHD Chronos Max cut my styling time in half. It heated up quickly and my hair looks noticeably shinier and frizz free after styling. Even with the larger plates it’s very easy to manoeuvre, getting in close to the scalp and even when styling the back sections of my hair. The GHD Chronos Max is a fantastic upgrade for anyone looking for a time saving styling tool, especially those with hair that needs a little extra care!

GHD Makes My Day!
I was beyond excited when the parcel arrived with the new GHD Chronos Max inside! I have always loved the GHD straighteners and have had several in the past. I have very thick hair and have always struggled with getting the result I wanted. Thanks to the Chronos all my troubles have gone away, with the extra wide paddle I’m able to get each and every strand of my hair and I come out of my bathroom looking like a super star! I love the heat that this straightener provides making my hair super straight and staying that way for days! So easy to use and the sound when you turn it on and off is so pretty and useful! Love it!! Highly recommend!

GHD chronos
So excited to receive this product as my well love GHD just stopped working. The white is very pretty! Easy to handle and not heavy. Little hard to initially find the on switch but love the lights when it is turned on. Very easy to use and I can straighten my hair so much quicker than before. Hair is straight after only one pass but I need to get used to that. I am use to going over the hair multiple times and it is hard to break that habit! I love the wider plates that make it easier to straighten thick hair. I’ve used it several times to just pass over a ponytail and it works just fine. I like the wishbone shaped hinge but I found that the plates don’t always line up exactly as there is a bit of give in the hinge - hopefully it won’t get too loose. The GHD also emits a slight ringing sound which continues after it is switched off if not switched off at the power point. I am not sure if that is just the one I have or if they are all like that. Overall, it is great and I am very happy!

I would definitely recommend the GHD Chronos, it is super fast to heat up. Light and easy to hold. It took only a few minutes to straighten my thick, frizzy hair. Makes absolutely gorgeous curls!

Ghd never disappoints.
I’ve had my old ghd for over 15 years and it’s still going strong so I never thought to upgrade. Boy am I glad I did! I’ve been using the GHD ChronoMax Hair Straightener for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed. I have thick long hair. The wide plate halves the time to straighten my hair without having to go over pieces and it does a quality job. I like that when turning on the device it plays a short tune and flashes lights until it reaches the correct temperature with a beep. Also when turning off it plays a short tune. This is a good reminder you have turned the device off. It is a sturdy well-made appliance.

I love this straightener!! Gives me the silkiest and shiniest hair so quickly.l and I’m a blonde so that’s saying something! The plates glide over with no tugging or pulling .. easy to turn on and off also heats up quickly.

Best Hair Straightener Ever!
I have been a long time GHD user (the original with thinner plates) and always appreciated how it made my hair look but never had time to completely straighten my hair as I have very thick long hair it can take me up to 45 mins to do. I was amazed at the results of this straightener. I was able to do my whole head in about 10 mins. I didn’t even know ghd made straighteners with wider plates. This has honestly changed my life and my hair game and I can’t wait until this is released so I can tell all my friends about this new amazing product!
