The Basic Series has high carbon steel blades that stay sharp longer, superior blade geometry, and exceptional fur feeding to protect your dog or cat from pulls or cuts. Wahl Basic Series clipper makes home pet grooming easy! The kit includes a multi-cut corded clipper, 4 guide combs, a comb, a blade guard, blade oil and cleaning brush, and a handled storage case. If your clipper has a power screw, it has been adjusted for peak efficiency before leaving the factory. However, if the voltage in your home is low, you may need to re-adjust it. To adjust the power screw, use the plastic brush, a screwdriver, or a thin coin to turn the power screw in a clockwise direction until the arm strikes the coil, making a noise. Then, slowly turn the power screw out (counterclockwise), just until the noise stops. This is the maximum power setting.

Best Clippers I've Found
We have a Cockalier (king charles and cocker spaniel) with a combo of really long hair and lots of "duck fluff" so it's really hard to cut. I've used several different clippers and they either bog down, get stuck in his hair or you have to go so slow it's an all day task. These cut great! I was able to use them over his whole body with the attachments and regular blade. It took less than half the time and he looks great! The blade is sharp and the directions for different breeds was extremely helpful! I highly recommend these for at home dog grooming!

Does the job

Great set of clippers for dog grooming!

Good clippers, but a little loud.
These clippers to what they are supposed to do, which is great. I have a Burmese mtn dog/Rottweiler mix that I used the clippers on, I was trying to trim up her belly and she was not the best participant. I think the clippers were loud which made her nervous so it was difficult, however I was able to get it done and it looked great.

Basic Clipper with 4 comb lengths
The Wahl pet clipper is a basic clipper. It certainly gets the job done even if it's not the best pet clipper available. It's good for a person new to pet grooming, although it does take a couple of passes to get a smooth cut. The different comb lengths are good for different cuts. Overall, it's a good clipper for the price and those new to pet grooming.

Works great on small pups!
These clippers seem to work great, not too loud as to scare the dog and it doesn't pull their hair. It comes with a few different guards for varried lengths which is really nice!

Great With Patience
My pup did not make it easy. She is 4 years old but still has the energy she had at 1 year. After bribing with a couple of treats I was able to get a true test. I love the clippers. Everything seemed safe and sound.

Nice trimmer, could be quieter
Overall this is a nice trimmer with some flaws. I feel like it is a little loud. Most other pet trimmers are pretty quiet but this one seemed to be pretty loud and my dog did not enjoy it. The cut was nice but it seemed to take twice as long as usual to give her a haircut.

Works perfectly!
This clipper set works perfectly. I followed the directions exactly how the instructions said. It was so hard for me to take my dogs to the groomers by myself. I was so nervous to cut my dogs hair myself. But I honestly think it looks so much better than taking them to the groomers. I would definitely recommend these to everyone! These cut so smoothly And don’t scare my dogs.
