I’ve been using COSRX’s The Alpha-Arbutin 2 Discoloration Care Serum for a few weeks now, and I’m really impressed! The first thing I noticed is how lightweight the serum is—it absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave any sticky residue, which makes it great for layering with other products. As someone with rosacea that tends to flare up during certain parts of my menstrual cycle, I was really hoping this serum would help reduce some of the redness. While it didn’t make a huge visible difference in photos (especially since my ‘after’ pic was taken during my worst rosacea days), I could definitely see and feel a reduction in redness. My skin feels calmer and less irritated overall, especially during those difficult times. If you’re looking for a gentle serum that works on discoloration without feeling heavy on the skin, I’d definitely recommend giving this a try!

This serum is packaged extremely well and has a firm stopper installed in the neck of the bottle which helps with keeping the product secure with no leakage or spillage. I noticed that this serum is very thin and watery so I would recommend dropping a small amount on specific areas at a time and working it into the skin. It does have a terrible smell of almost onion and vinegar BUT this is only if you smell your hands. You literally cannot smell it while it is on your face. These must be the active ingredients so I don’t mind, just don’t smell your hands go straight to the sink and wash them. The serum absorbs into the skin very rapidly since it is very thin, which is why I believe you cannot smell the serum. I have very dark and patchy freckles all over my face. They do not look good which is why I actively seek out lightening products. Overall I did notice my freckles fade and my skin looked so much more even and brighter, so it does work!

I was optimistic at reducing the hyperpigmentation under my eyes, on my shoulders and on my cheeks. Only produced white heads on those spots. Nothing clearer. Good new was there was no sting

The Alpha-Arbutin 2 Discoloration Care Serum, consistent usage over long period of time to see changes in discoloration and post acne scars. For my length of trial, I noticed limited changes and discoloration. However, my skin feels good reflection few weeks.

I have used COSRX serum for two weeks, twice daily. I usually get post-acne hyperpigmentation marks that can take as long as 6 months to lighten. I have olive color type skin so I think that is pretty typical for warmer toned skin types. I had 2-3 new dark marks that I really noticed lightened nicely with the serum. They are much less noticeable and that makes me so happy. The serum is very easy to apply because of the dropper top. It pulls up the exact amount of serum to use on the entire face. It goes on like a liquid and then you put on the entire face, avoiding the eyes and mouth. It is tacky until it dries. Once dried, it leaves your face feeling hydrated and soft! I can put lotions and foundations on top of the serum and it doesn’t flake or pill. I am overall very pleased with this beauty product. I would highly recommend you add this into your skin care regimen.

So when I got the serum, I was excited to try it. After using it for a few days, it was kind of harsh on my skin at first. I did notice after using it for a week or so the irritation did stop. It does leave your skin feeling smooth your poor smaller, and your spot slowly start to fade away after using it for about almost 3 weeks. I have noticed a little change in my skin.

First, I would say I like the packaging of this Alpha-Arbutin 2 Discoloration Care Serum, especially the dropper head cap design, which makes it easier to open and close the cap. Second, I really like the texture of the serum. It feels watery when you first put it onto your skin, as you smooth it out, the serum quickly absorbs into your skin and provides a protective barrier on your skin, which also makes your skin feels smooth immediately. I can wear it comfortably every day together with other facial products. After a week's use, I although I don't see any changes to my skin yet, but my skin feels softer and moisturized. I would keep on using it and see how the results are.

I applied it for 4-5 days straight, I didnt notice anything different with my skin. My discoleration stay the same, didnt get better. But i felt that my skin was smoother

I have noticed my dark spots lighten up. I had really bad acne right after high school and they did leave acne scars. With being out in the sun it did get dark spots as well. I can see them fading a bit.
