My new must have!

I've never used a primer before, but was excited to see the benefits. After I cleaned my face in the morning, I applied my moisturizer and then the primer and continued with my makeup. It's almost as if my makeup had something to grab onto! Genius. I'm questioning why I've never used a primer before. Not only did my makeup go on super smoothly, but it also lasted all day long! No more touch ups throughout the day! This is amazing, easy to use and made by neutrogena, a brand we all know!

Perfect Matte

Seems ok but not something I need

I used this and I’ve never been much of a primer user. I definitely don’t use it regularly enough to really be able to tell a difference. It did give me a matte look- or at least not shiny. But I don’t know really what it does honestly.

Amazing

NEUTROGENA Shine Control Matte Primer and Serum worked wonderfully on my skin. It was light, breathable and fresh. It made my skin feel so great that I even decide to ditch the rest of my routine and go with a more natural look. The best primer serum I have ever used.

Not my favorite serum

I didn't like that it was not thick and alittle runny when I would apply it to my face and it would leave a sticky feeling after it dried.

Kept my skin matte overnight

I definitely have an oily t-zone. When I add makeup on my skin, the oil is emphasized dramatically. I have used NEUTROGENA® Shine Control Matte Primer + Serum on my skin both without and with makeup. The results have been astonishing. Each time, once all day and once overnight (no face washing, eek I know) my skin stayed matte and showed little to no signed of oil. The product did not cause any averse reactions to my skin and my makeup application and wear were not effected negatively. My makeup looked great for longer. No harsh smells and a great easy to apply product.

Matte Primer serum

I did not really care for the way it made my face feel after it dried. I noticed it helped slightly with no shine through out the day, but it was not amazing. It did not blow my expectations out of the water.

Keeps foundation on my face all day long

My face isn't overly oily, but my makeup tends to disappear after a couple of hours. This primer helped my foundation stick to my face all day long while I was at work. My skin felt smoother, too. I was worried that it might clog my pores, but I haven't had a breakout.

A little too thin...

I did not really see much of a difference after applying the Matte Primer in the overall look of my skin as compared to other primers I have used. I feel like it was a little too "thin" to have much effect in smoothing out my skin of imperfections prior to applying other face makeup.

Great Matte Primer Serum

I have never used a matte primer and serum before trying the Neutrogena Shine Control Matte Primer + Serum. I was very pleased with the way my face felt after use. It made my face feel soft and not greasy. I liked that there was no odor.

Works great!

I used Neutrogena Shine Control Matte Primer + Serum before going out with some friends one night. Just a little went a long way! I ended up falling asleep with my makeup still on and in the morning I STILL HAD ON A FULL FACE! WOW!!! This stuff works great!!

Great multi tasker

I have been using Neutrogena shine control Matte primer+serum for about a week now. I always like a product that offers multiple benefits. I apply it in the morning under my makeup and it prepares my skin and makes it really smooth. I used to get shiny spots on my forehead in the afternoon but not anymore!
