SMOOTHIE MAKER

I got this slushy maker and it works ok. It could be better but get the job done. I probably won't buy again.

So, I actually bought this for $5 at Walmart while shopping with my 8yr old. Neither of us were too hyped about it once home, but MY HUSBAND.. HE LOVES IT! We bought multiple fruits & froze them all overnight & tried it the next day & they were GOOD! BRAGS: It is super simple to use! No noise, batteries, electric bits.. just a manual handcrank! The price is right! At $5+/- it is worth buying, even if you only use it ONCE! Also, clean up is ridiculously quick & painless since it easily rinses off. **BONUS- Helps promote healthy eating! COMPLAINTS: It is basically a play-doh style press; the fruits come slowly out the spout ,similar to play-doh as well. (It's kinda off-putting...). 2ND: You have to apply ALOT of steady, increasing pressure on the top piece to get a proper result (otherwise the frozen fruits won't smoosh through). I couldn't; I tried.. I can't imagine a kid (by themsselves) being able to! *Side note: The little cups that come with- TRASH. So BYOC.

I got this for the kids to play with while it is cold out and they needed something to do inside. They had a goood time using it. Kinda messy but I was ready for that.
