Sparked more food interest!
I have 2 small 17-13lbs dogs, one is super picky. I have started to add some of this food to their daily intake. I noticed they seemed to be more excited to eat. Seems like they highly enjoy the taste.

Quality Product
My little chihuahua really seemed to enjoy the Optimeal Nutrient Balanced dog food sample. She is a very finicky eater usually and lots of times doesn't finish her food. This was not the case with this food. She ate it right up with no leftovers every night!

A solid mid-quality dog food
First thing to note, this food is not grain free. The ingredients are still good though. Pros, the small breed type has nice smaller kibble pieces which I’ve learned is important for smaller adult dogs (mine is a 10 lb chihuahua mix). My dog is also on the picky side and seemed to have no issues with this food. She liked it, albeit I saw her drinking more than usual so it may be a bit salty. Con, It is relatively light in color and I tend to find the darker kibble produces more firm outputs on the other end. I appreciate that because it’s easier to pick up.

Excellent option for easy home delivery
Overall, I’m impressed with the Optimeal Lamb & Rice food. My dog enjoys it, and we appreciate the excellent quality of the ingredient list. We also love that it can be delivered via Amazon, so it arrives super quickly. Definitely recommend.

Small dog enjoyed
This Optimeal Nutrient Balance Adult dog for lamb and rice flavor for small breeds of dogs came in a 3.3lb bag and was enjoyed by the dogs that tried it. They gobbled it all up and there was no problem finishing the whole bag!

Whole, balanced, natural real dog food
I really was not expecting my dog to like this brand. I don't think he ever had lamb in his diet. I slowly mixed Nutrient Balance into my dog's normal food, and to my surprise he liked it better than his old brand.

Better than what we have been using!
My small papillon mix finally loves his dog food after trying this dog food. At first, he was really picky with his food, always eating his friend's food but never his own. Also, his breath would smell so bad when we finally found one that was okay and he would tolerate. Optimal Nutrient balance has been a life saver! Not only does he love it but his breath has stopped smelling like we haven't brushed his teeth in years. It's easy to bite and chew for my small dog and the ingredients in it are very simply to understand, better than processed dog food. We found our go to meals for now on!

Fantastic for picky pups
If you have a dog that is a picky eater then I would definitely give Optimeal Nutrient Balance Adult Dog Food a try! My little maltipoo, who is normally very picky about his food, gobbled up the lamb and rice flavored kibble and then stared at me as if he was begging for more. I've noticed that his coat looks extra shiny since he's started it and he seems to have a lot more energy. I am thankful that I found a good that he enjoys so that he can get the essential vitamins he needs to live a long, healthy life.

Just OK
It was just ok. My dog didn't go crazy over it. I still had to add food to it to get her to eat it. It wasn't worth repurchasing for the price if I have to add extra food to get my dog to eat it. I was also not thrilled about peas being in the ingredient list.
