It took a couple times

My Yorkie is happy after his yummy meal!
I have two yorkies that have a lot of food allergies so finding the right food that they don’t treat to is extremely important. I tried the Optimal Dry Food for Small Breads dog food in the Lamb and Rice recipe and my dogs love it! The vet recommended we get a food that is easily digestible so this was perfect as it is easy to digest and made specifically for small breeds. My dogs love the taste and had no reaction to it so it was a huge win!

Devoured by our dog
Our dog devoured this new food as soon as I started pouring it into her bowl. She was smelling the package and wagging her tail like mad before I even got to open it. Didn't bother her stomach or affect her in any way. She enjoyed it each day we gave it to her.

Great!
My dog tends to really like lamb based kibble and so I was excited to give him this Optimeal dog food. I slowly transitioned him onto this food from his last food and he really loves it and seems eager to eat it.

My mini chihuahua is pretty picky so I was pleased to see her picking the Optimeal Nutrient Balance out of the bowl of mixed dog foods (since I mixed it with her old food for health reasons )

Yum!! Optimeal!
My dog Sandy knew there was something good in the bag of Super Premium Optimeal. She kept sniffing it. I didn't make her wait. I poured a cup into her bowl and she started eating it right away. great sized food for little dogs
Most of my dogs are small chihauhaus, which means that most dog food pieces are too large for their small mouths. This dog is perfectly sized, even for the 3 lb pound dog. Now the food does a little have more of scent than regular dog food but that seems to make my dogs want to eat it more. Other than the size, it seems like regular dog food. The nutrition content seems to be in between that of puppy stage and a regular dog food which for small is important since they need more. The bag of food that I received free for this review went over extremely well with all 8 of our dogs. I will probably buy it again.

Middle of the road food
The food didnt have anything unapealing. It wasnt a terrible smell, it came in a resealable bag, and my dogs seem to be able to digest the food without issue. appreciate the size of the kibble for my small Yorkie. However, even though my maltipoo is considered a small dog the food he eats is usually a little bigger in size. Also they ate the food when given as a treat but hesitated a bit when it was presented as a meal. All in all I think it's solid food.

Optimeal Nutrient Balance Adult Dog Food
I received this dog food complimentary in exchange for my honest review. I have a five pound full blooded chihuahua. He is not a picky dog by taste, but he does prefer softer food generally. Even with that preference, he really liked this food. It is hard food, but the pieces are quite small individually, and he loved the flavor by my estimation. I have been giving him half of his regular food and half of this Optimeal Nutrient Balance, and he has loved it! I am really impressed with how fast he has taken to it and seems to tolerate it. He has had no GI issues at all and seems to really enjoy it. I would absolutely recommend this food to a friend and I am excited to see how he does with the remainder of the bag!

My dog enjoyed this food.
My 6 year old dog has allergies issues so it is hard to find food that he doesn't have a reaction too. Hands down this has been a good choice. He enjoys it and it had good products in it. We were also happy that they have small breed because he is only 15 lbs and it is easy for him to eat.

Opti Meal Premium Dog Food
I couldn’t believe how much my Chihuahua loved Opti Meal dog food! Normally she’s an incredibly picky eater, especially when I put down new dog food she hasn’t tried, but that was not the case with this lamb and rice recipe. As the bag suggests, I mixed a little bit of her old food with Opti Meal the first time and she gobbled up all the new dog food and left the old brand in her dish. I couldn’t believe it! Besides my dog loving Opti Meal, I also loved it, thanks to its balanced nutrients and minerals to keep my dog healthy and happy. I was also delighted to know that these perfect sized morals first ingredient contained lamb with no extra fillers. Since my dog and I absolutely loved Opti Meal dog food, we will be repurchasing and recommending it to all our friends in the future!

Love everything about this dog food
I loved the packaging of this dog food. It was completely sealed. It was very easy to open. I was pleasantly surprised that it had a self sealing top to keep the food fresh. The shape of the kibble looks like it would be easily digested even if the dog swallows them. As soon as I put the food in the bowl, my dog showed interest. He normally eats when he feels like it. He must have liked the smell as he was just waiting for me to put it in his bowl, which isn't normal. He immediately stated to eat it as soon as I filled his bowl. Usually he is a free feed, but seeing how much he liked this food I may have to measure out his servings to prevent over-eating.
