I normally use non-stick pans. I stopped using traditional non-stick because of all the chemicals and move to ceramic and granite stone type pans but still have problems with the coatings eventually coming off and they start sticking. These stainless steel pans are heavy duty enough to withstand the heat of the stove, but not so heavy that they're too bulky to store or awkward to use. I haven't really used it enough to test the sticking power very much.
I've been using this sauce pan to make some of my favorite meals and it works great! It's made of stainless steel and is great quality. It is lightweight and I love that the handle doesn't get hot while I'm cooking. This is a really nice pan and I highly recommend it!
The Mainstays stainless steel 3-quart sauce pot, though surprisingly light, proves robust in cooking tasks. The handle's sharp edge is a minor inconvenience. I specifically cooked mashed potatoes in it, and the pot performed well in that regard, showcasing its practicality for various culinary needs. I would definitely purchase more from this brand. I love that it’s stainless steel.
Just a really nice pot - I was surprised at how nice this was. What really made this a great quality product was that you can use the pot to drain whatever your cooking - no need for a seperate colander - one less thing to clean!! The side of the pot has holes to drain your food - pasta, potatoes, vegetables etc - awesome!! Such a great idea!

Perfect size
I really like this saucepan. It's a great size and holds a lot. It's also easy to clean if you rinse it right after. My favorite part is the fact that you can put it in the dishwasher or the oven.
I really enjoyed cooking in this sauce pan. I love that it is stainless steel so I don’t have to worry about toxic materials leaking into my family’s food. It’s a good size so I can make a large meal to feed my family. And it heats the food quickly which is also nice.

Perfect Sauce Pan for every kitchen!
I receive this sauce pan in exchange for an honest review. First, I was very impressed with the overall look - well made and well thought out in the design. The handle stays cool while cooking, the lid had a seal on top to prevent overflow, and there's even a strainer on the lid for making pasta or draining veggies! I love that I can also pour easily from the side when I made my favorite sauces and gravies. Three quarts is the perfect size for any home and this product is easy to clean as well! Great product overall!
I enjoy using this pan. My favorite thing about it has to be the lid with strainer holes. Great for pasta or anything that needs the water drained. I don’t have to get out a colander. This pan was easy to clean. I like the extra long handle as it didn’t get too hot for me to grab.
I received this product from Home Tester Club in exchange for my honest review and while it had a couple positives, overall I wouldn’t suggest purchasing this. The pros are the clear lid and the built in straining feature, which was ideal for Mac and cheese. The cons are the lack of protective coating on the handle and lid, both of which become extremely hot and require use of a hot pads, oven mitt and/or dry towel should you want to touch them w/o severely burning yourself. Also, b/c the metal is very thin your meals could burn very quickly. It’s a no from me.
This pot is great for making pasta; I like that it is deep enough and has a spout for draining the water.

Cooked faster than a microwave!
First item I used the 3 qt pot for was popcorn. I couldn't believe how fast it popped. I really think it was faster than my microwave! Clean up was a breeze with hot water and soap. It shines now after a couple of uses like when it was delivered. My second use was to make brown butter. I wasn't sure if the thinner bottom would make it burn. NOPE! It tuned out perfect. I am so pleased with the size, speed in cooking and how easy it is to clean. My only question was in the packaging was a note that said hand wash and the product label said dishwasher safe. I have learned from my non-stick pans, pots and pans last longer if you let them cool and then hand wash.
I think the pot is very sturdy for the price, also very large capacity do to it being 3 quarts. I like that the pot is curved and the lid doubles as a strainer. I would recommend this to a friend or family member.
This is a beautiful pot, it worked well to make macaroni and cheese. However, it is advertised as having a handle that does not get hot and that is not true. The handle definitely got hot! So as long as you are careful - it's a great budget good looking pot.
This pot is lightweight and comes with a cover. I like that it comes with a drainage lid making it useful for pasta and vegetable steaming without the need for an additional colander though I wish the pot spout was a bit larger.
This is not a heavy pot and per its instructions should not be used with high heat limiting is usefulness and couldn’t be my only pot of this size. A low to medium sauté is fine but can not tolerate high heat. The lid has two issues that additionally limit its use. The handle on the lid gets hot so a potholder is a necessity and the vent hole makes it less than ideal for steaming rice.
I found that it cleaned easily and has a nice look. For the price it’s a nice pot.
