Nice Pan
This is a really nice, good quality saucepan. I love how it goes with any other cookware you may have, due to the universal appeal of the stainless steel. It nice and sturdy, has a very good weight to it. I like that the handle is extra long, it just seems to make it easier to use.
My favorite part is the strainer holes on the lid, along with the little spout on the side of the pan. You can drain water from pasta or vegetables without needing to remove the lid or use a strainer. It's a great extra feature.
If you want a nice, all around useful saucepan, this is a great one to try.

Fantastic Cookware!
This saucepan is shiny and beautifully reflective in stainless steel. The lid has slots to aid in venting and straining. It is the perfect size for cooking my family all kinds of delicious meals and sides. I appreciate that food doesn't get stuck to the bottom of it, which often happens with staples like rice and oatmeal. The bottom surface of the pan is made to allow for even cooking, and it absolutely works! The pan is easy to clean, and stores easily with the lid nested atop. I am so very pleased with this fabulous and functional sauce pan!
When I received the 3-Quart Stainless Steel Sauce Pan with lid, it was slightly damaged on the rim of the pan which did affect any cooking I did where you needed to simmer a recipe with the lid on because the lid did not sit right on pan.
Everything else that I cooked in pan not requiring a lid was just fine.
I felt that the handle was a little to long. Longer than the other handles on similar pans I have. My stove top and kitchen area is small so the handle stuck out a little more and was always in the way.
The pan hand lid had a nice appearance and cleaned up nicely after each use.

Nice size with versatile lid
First thing I noticed was the size, and that it's lightweight, both positives. We have an induction cooktop, and it's compatible. The lid is the best part, it strains, so no dirtying another item...yes please!! I'm hoping it holds up in the dishwasher...have only washed it twice.

Sturdy convenient lid
This pot is a great size for many tasks. The lid fits well, and the pot feels of quality weight. It heated up nicely. I like that it says oven and dishwasher safe. The strainer lid is a great feature. However, it says not to boil. So, I'm not sure what I would ever need to strain that I didn't boil first.

my honest review
I have used this sauce pan a few times since receiving It. I cooked mac and cheese and the lid was great for being like
a colander and draining the water. I would definitely recommend this its easy to use and cleaning it is a breeze.
I have been using this pan for about a week, and I can confidently say that the Mainstays 3-Quart Stainless Steel Sauce Pan is efficient. I have a gas stove, and this pan heats quickly and evenly. I love that the pour spout and straining lid remove the hassle of using a strainer. I also love that the handle and glass lid do not get hot and that the pan is oven safe. I would definitely recommend it to cooks and non-cooks alike.
Thanks so much guys for letting try this product, I was planning to buy a pan sauce n you guys sent me this I’m so happy I have used this for a week and it works great is non stick n the handle doesn’t get hot
Great pot works wonders and doesn't stick. The lid has small holes in the side witch make it so much easier to drain water. Would recommend buying!

Great for draining
This is actually a perfect size for a lot of food that I cook. I would have given five stars if for the lid, not being completely tight. Otherwise, I really appreciate the colander type lid.
The pan itself seems really sturdy, but the hollow handle worries me. I worry if the pot has something heavy in it, the handle will fail.
I really like the holes in the lid so I can drain things without making more dishes. The pot itself is heavy duty.
I don't like that it's hand wash only.
