Joydays Chocolate Chip Cookies

The best things about Joy Days cookies is that 3 of them are only 130 calories and only 16g carbs. They will last me a long time because I can hardly choke them down. They taste terrible, even if they are dietitian approved. I wonder if the dietitians actually tasted them? They taste like high fiber shredded cardboard with a bit of chocolate thrown in to try to make it palatable.

These were the nastiest tasting cookies that I have ever tasted. They weren't sweet at all and just tasted horrible!! The whole cookie needs improvement and I definitely would NOT recommend.

They tasted like dry rubber fruit bars they had no flavor

Maybe it was just us but we were not a fan of these cookies. At least for what they were advertised as. Could just be our taste buds but to my family it tasted like a fig newton with semi sweet chocolate chips. Honestly not awful but not at all what we were expecting in this chip considering we regularly eat these type of products.

These Joydays Chocolate Chip Cookies are really yummy. I did immediately taste that they were made with Dark Chocolate. They are perfectly chewy. The outer box is attention grabbing. The inner packaging need to be stronger. The plastic holding the cookies was beat up pretty bad. They level of chewiness is perfect. I prefer milk chocolate over dark chocolate. A healthier cookie... Why not? They are delicious!

These diabetic-friendly Joydays Chocolate Chip Cookies are delicious despite being extremely low in sugar and calories, which has been very difficult to find in my experience. I would definitely recommend them to others who prefer healthy options. Enjoy!

They are fairly tasty. No real chocolate flavor, they taste similar to a fig Newton. The cookies are soft and easy to eat. I might have them again.

Great taste and great product, especially for a diabetic. Low carb dessert which is hard to find. Melts in your mouth and doesn't have that artificial sugar taste.

First of all these cookies looked nothing like the photo on the box. I wasn't too upset about that, but they definitely didn't look like a classic chocolate chip cookie. The taste however...I didn't like it at all at first. Very bitter, chalky, with a clay sort of texture. I tried a few more to give them a real chance, and they only got slightly better as I ate two or three more. Obviously I was able to eat them, so they weren't completely terrible, but I certainly wouldn't purchase these or recommend them.

This was horrible. The texture was too rubbery. The taste reminded me of a fruitcake. I could not finish it. I would not recommend. I am very familiar with low sugar snacks, but this missed the mark.

I expected cookie to be dry and hard like many box cookies. However, I was gladly surprised to find a soft chewy great cookie! Could lower calories and sodium content. Taste is good.

I was quite disappointed with these cookies. While they are good for you they sure tastes like it. The aftertaste and medical taste to the cookies made them unappealing.

I was so excited to try these cookies because they are diabetic friendly while supporting digestion and appetite suppression. Figuring these could be the next "it" snack to help get through the day. Unfortunately, the taste was not at all appealing. The texture was also off for what a regular soft batch cookie would be. There was an aftertaste that just wouldn't leave. They tasted more like an undercooked raisin cookie than a chocolate chip. Even my 4 year old who loves all kinds of cookies asked if someone else wanted to finish his test cookie while chugging a glass of milk. He also complained that his mouth tasted funny after his one and only bite. Of the 5 people home to test these, only one who loves rasins said they'd try them again if offered, but wouldn't buy them. Between the texture, the odd flavor and the aftertaste I'd give these 2 stars. The image on the box looks nothing like the cookies contained within. They are darker and less appealing than the image too.
