Made my skin break out

The texture and feeling on the skin after applying are good. It also makes my foundation application smoother and easier. Those are the plus. It does not stay matte all day, it has a more kind of creamy finish, and I use matte foundation so I am sure that comes from the primer. The worst part is that it make my skin break out in three different spots, and not tiny rash-like bumps, these are big red pimples. I will stop using immediately.

Hard Candy Sheer Face Primer

I love that the Hard Candy Sheer face primer was lightweight and very concentrated when applying it to my face before my make up. The primer was easy to apply and went on evenly. It was not greasy and only had to use a small amount each time. The primer helped keep my make up on my face throughout the day and really made my make up go on nicely. I love this product and it has really helped my make up application go smoother for me in the mornings before work.

Primer Review

I applied the primer to my skin then waited a minute. I started to get hot and noticed beads of sweat forming all over my face. I immediately removed primer because it seemed to be having a warming effect. Will have to try again on a cold day because it got very warm today.

Hard Candy Sheer Envy Mattifying Primer

I love this primer. It applies light and evenly and leaves skin felling soft and smooth and slightly hydrated. It does a great job controlling oil and shine and my makeup lasts longer.

Very nice primer.

Hard Candy Sheer Envy Mattifying Face Primer works well to smooth skin and hide any shiny areas. The mattifying effect helps keep shine from getting through any makeup you put over it. It wears well under product I applied over it and is overall a nice face primer.

Great for mature skin

Hard Candy Sheer Envy Mattifying Face Primer is fragrance free which I liked. I only needed a small amount to cover my face and neck, after applying this primer it left my face feeling very soft and smooth. My foundation went on more smoothly after using the Hard Candy Primer and left my face with a matte finish-no shiny or glitter finish which I liked since I have mature skin. My pores seemed diminished as well as the fine lines which is why I use a primer. I've used plenty of different primers and Hard Candy Sheer Envy Mattifying Primer has all the elements I look for in a primer.

Impressed

So I am used to using Milk brand face primer before make up but don't use it on a regular basis because it tends to make my makeup a bit cakey after awhile. I was really impressed with the sheer envy primer. It went on smooth and evenly. My makeup blended so perfectly and I didn't have to work in spots like my other primer. It really did keep my shine free through my work shift as a waitress. I absolutely loved it and am already recommending it to my friends and family. I even tried it with a foundation I have up on because I didn't like it's coverage, and this primer actually made that foundation wearable now. Really really impressed by it. Thank you for the opportunity to try it out. I loved it.

Keeps make-up fro wearing off

Definitely helped to keep my makeup from wearing off before the day was done. Gives me hours more wear time without re- applying makeup.

Not effective

It did not keep my face, especially forehead, matte. My skin still gets oily/shiny by end of the day. It also got bumpy after using the primer. The main ingredient is dimethicone which can clog the pores.

Very pleased

I’ve usually stick with the department store brand name I am familiar with but texture is much Smoother and firm. I will continue to use Hard Candy from now on.
