Beautiful color
Overall I loved the color itself. However, it did not look good on me. My hair did feel rich and soft even after I colored it. I should of had someone else do it for me so I would of gotten it spread out evenly. I'm fair skinned and it was just too dark for me. I recommend if you have more of a tan skin than light to red skin coloring.

Great coverage
This product was so thick it covered my thick hair well. Granted I only did the under half. I am sad it's not as purple as I thought but the silk and smell was amazing. Not harsh . Didn't stink . It's long lasting so far also

Brown dye
Overall the color went on smoothly and processed as expected. However the color wasn’t as vibrant as I expected based on the box. It has lasted nicely though in the hot shower, not fading quickly like others I’ve tried!

Super saturated color
This product was easy to use and came with detailed instructions for those who haven't dyed their hair at home before. It has a very pleasant smell (which isn't always the case) and I'm impressed with how saturated the color looks. I'm interested to see how long it will last or start to fade.

Such a pretty color!
I tried this color in Sunset Mauve, and I’m really happy with the results! The color is a rich, mauve-toned brunette with a subtle reddish-purple glow, especially in the light. The formula was easy to apply, didn’t have a strong chemical smell, and left my hair feeling soft thanks to the bonding treatment. It provided full coverage on my grays, which was a big plus. It's hard to cover the front where my grays are, but this one did. The only downside is that the mauve tones faded a bit after a few washes, but the overall color still looks great. I’d definitely use it again!

Hair color
This is the first time I dyed my hair without the horrible smell and absolutely no burning sensation. I not overly impressed with the color though. I don’t feel as though the purple mauve is really not noticeable. It did take care of all my grays and the color looks like dark brown.

Easy but not the right color to box
I have used box dye plenty of times throughout the years and this one is pretty simple to do like most. I did appreciate the bonding pretreatment to help lock in the color. Would love for every box dye to have this step. The color did not come out at all like it was supposed to. It actually looks more like my natural hair color than anything. I only see a hint of red in the sun. Overall I would buy again when I want a more natural look and to cover my greys.

Great product
I recently received my Clairol colorstrong, box hair dye, in Fiji Sunset. The color is beautiful with mauve undertones throughout. It has left my hair soft and healthy and the color has not faded at all. I love it!

Easy and vibrant
Love this color. Clairol has always been my go to brand, but I've never tried this color. Generally I'm a lighter shade especially as I age, but this was a refreshing change. Easy to use and happy with the result.

color is easy
really easy to apply and made my hair pop, especially in the sun. The package itself had really easy-to-read directions and finally i didnt have the mess i usually get when I'm applying at-home hair color. I like that. it does have a strong scent when applying but it is easy to wash out and then i didnt notice it. I will continue to use this and i got a ton of compliments on my hair

Pretty color, but not my fave
Sunset Mauve is the color I used on my neutral, natural brown hair. There was no bleach in the kit and I did not need to lighten my hair prior, but I noticed the color came out a little more of a dark brown mauve than I expected.

Hair felt great, color not so much
I had high hopes for this color, especially with the name "Sunset Mauve," but unfortunately, the results were a bit underwhelming. While I followed the instructions carefully, I didn’t notice much of a change in my hair color. If anything, it gave a very subtle tint that was only visible in certain lighting. That said, I did love how my hair felt afterward. The formula left my hair feeling soft, healthy, and well-conditioned, which was a nice bonus. If you’re looking for a dramatic color transformation, this might not be the best choice, but if you want a slight tint with great conditioning benefits, it could be worth a try.

Salon quality at home
I love the convenience of coloring my hair at home. But always looking for products that provide salon quality results at home. This hair coloring kit is high quality. The bonding products add salon quality results. It covers all my grays providing a fresh look. Even the gloves that came along are super quality as compared to other products in market that provide cheap plastic gloves. I am happy with results and still using thr conditioner that came in box to extend the effects of color and keeping hair healthy
