This storage hoist is very strong, economic and provides plenty of rope useful incase your ceiling is high. This package comes with all the necessary materials and a catalog with all the instructions that makes the installment easy. Good bike storage/lift for high ceilings
This bike storage/lift is perfect for people who have high garage ceilings and need a pulley system to raise and lower the bike for storage. As a side note... make sure to thread the rope before screwing in the plate. Otherwise you will have to remove the plate and reinstall. Also, I would call the hooks for the bikes, holders rather than hooks because they're not super secure. Lastly, you need to be careful when lifting the bikes while mounting. This can come off the hook easily. Overall this is a good product and a great idea to help hang bikes when you have high ceilings.

Received this Bike Lane Bicycle Storage Lift Bike Hoist 2-pack just in time. We were just beginning our garage clean out and wanted a way to keep our bikes accessible yet out of the way. Bike Hoist was easy to install and supported our bikes confidently and securely.

Easy to install and use
I thought this storage lift bike hoist was really easy to install and put together. Have to remember to install it on something that is stable like a straight wooden plank and something strong enough to hang the lift and a bike. Another thing to think about when installing is the height of where you want your bike to be, you don't want it to be too high where you will have trouble getting the bike on and off the storage lift. One thing I would improve on this would be the hooks that hold onto the bike seat and the steer bars. I feel like if the hook was more curved it would have a better hold of the bike in case of any movement or a natural disaster like a earthquake. The materials use for the lift seem to be sturdy and made with quality material though. Honestly not too sure how long the rope is going to last since it is the plastic type material and it will start to degrade in changing weather through hot and cold especially if you install it in the garage.

Quick suspension
As a temporary solution for bike storage, it is a great alternative. The installation of the hooks and loops for the cord can become a little tricky, it needs a lot of patience to get it completed correctly. It serves it's purpose for storing the bike in the air and on the side of the garage. But I wouldn't use it as long term storage.

Sturdy and great storage solution
I have to knock down a star to ease of installation, but the overall look and effectiveness of the bicycle heavy duty bike hoist is perfect for my needs. Since it comes in a two pack its perfect my husband and my bike. Storage space has always been a struggle in our garage so taking the bike and putting them hoisted in the air made a lot more space for the cars. Its doesn't look flimsy and appears to be sturdy enough for both the bikes. Since we have moderately high ceiling it was a bit uncomfortable during installation other than that it works like its supposed to.

Tripping over bike is a past thought
This hoisting mechanism was a very viable solution to keep my bike and scooter out of the way in the house. It was difficult to get up to the ceiling but i made do. Only thing i would change is for a more neutral color other than green but nothing a little spray can cant fix/
