Tefal OptiGrill Elite XL

Really impressed with this grill. The smart cooking programs are very easy to use and cook the food just right as it tells you when it's rare, medium and well done. It did sausages and belly pork really well but toasted cheese sandwiches were a fail as the cheese ran out of the toasties. Even when the cheese went everywhere it was really easy to clean. The char lines on the food looked good. I would recommend this product.

I received this grill but couldnt try for quite sometime. Then we had guests at home for a dinner party and I used it for bbq. It was so easy to use and clean after. Made my life so easy

I was very much looking forward to trying this product out. Firstly, let's start with the appearance. it looks great in the kitchen with all of my other appliances, and it's not to bulky, which I was originally concerned about. Secondly the performance. Once i read the manual (clearly explained) I firstly cooked burgers. I love how you can set how cooked u want them to finish. Next we cooked steak in which the grill measures the thickness to calculate the cooking process. It goes from blue-well done. I wanted mine medium rare and cooked them to medium and was a perfect finish. If you want a grill.. get this product :)

The product looks professional and stylish but it is not quick and easy to use. The grill takes over 10 minutes to heat up, the first thing we tried was chicken so we set the grill to the preferred setting and the chicken was so overcooked it burnt! I’ve tried a few various other items and they have been ok. Steak looked great but was cold inside even on medium. The only things I like about this is that you can remove the plates for dishwashing. As a family of 4 this grill is a good size for a meal but the machine itself is just too big.

This grill has become an integral part of my kitchen. I have used it almost daily for cooking beef, chicken, paninis, and vegetables. Build quality: 9/10. The item feels premium quality and sturdy. Aesthetically, it looks sleek and refined, unlike some cheaper options on the market. The handle does feel a little bit 'plasticky'. This is a minor complaint. Form and function: 8/10. The grill is easy to use as the settings render most cooking tasks simple. The first time I used it, I used a sticky marinade on some chicken and burned them horribly with the 'sear setting', admittedly, this was probably user error. The plates are a little difficult to clean by hand as getting in-between the grooves on the grill is quit difficult and the small raised points have damaged my sponges. No issues when cleaning in the dishwasher Overall, very happy with the product.

The health grill adapts its cooking capabilities based on a selection of settings programmed, intuitively assessing the cooking times with its accurate sensor. The grill is impressive, with an easy to use digital display. Once a menu item is selected the grill will warm up and notify you when it is ready to start the cooking process. When the food items are placed on the grill, the automatic sensor will calculate the cooking time and temperature based on the thickness of the item to be cooked.

Excellent product to grill like a professional. No need to worry about over cooking meat or fish. Best of all the trays can be easily clean. No more cooking in lots of oil. Keeps the food healthy. And the chops are cooked perfectly leaving it more juicy and tender. Amazing product for a family who likes to grill like a professional at home.

This grill makes grilling so quick and easy! The steaks we have cooked have been cooked to perfection for every person in the family (and of course, we all like it cooked differently!) The grill is easy to use and easy to clean and there really isn't anything not to like about it! It even comes with quite a thick recipe book for some extra meal inspiration!

10/10 Grill! It has now become my primary item to cook all my meats! It cooks the meat so well and perfectly it’s great! Only issue I have is the cooldown period, it does take a hot minute to cool down before you can take the plates off for cleaning. Apart from that! It’s great. I would 100% recommend this product to everyone I speak with!

I have used this product for a couple of weeks and am very impressed. It is very easy to use, instructions are so clear that even my other half could follow them with ease. I like the variety of cooking options, separate option for veg, meats, sandwiches .. We have made grilled aubergine, courgettes, mushrooms, burgers, pork steaks and even manager to cook chicken legs. The grill calculates the cooking time based on food type and thickness and everything was cooked just right. I was worried about the chicken legs, but even those were cooked through but not dry. I initially had a bit of a problem when I cooked multiple batches as the juices were burning on during the heating time in between, but I worked out the way to safely wipe the excess juices before re-heating, and that solved my problem. The grill itself doesn't create too much smoke or steam, so my kitchen extractor could cope with cooking smells fairly easily. Cleaning is very easy, wipe and pop in the dishwasher

First impressions - great size, digital screen and preset times and heat settings. First time I used it I cooked sausages on it on the sausage setting, unfortunately they ended up burnt on the outside and raw in the middle, so had to do a manual time on top. Second time cooked a panini on manual settings and it was spot on. Think it'll just take a bit of time getting used to the heat/times, but it's a great bit of kit. Cleaning is a bit of a faff as the grill indents are quite deep, so will have to find a specific brush to get in there. Shame nothing came with it!

Love love this ! Cooks food perfectly from toasties to steak it’s so quick easy and healthy. As a busy family of four this is definitely our go to when we all come home the food tastes amazing. So easy to keep clean the grill clip off for a deep clean. It instructions as simple straight forward to read and the grill is simple to use with control temperature and you can press what your going to make so bye bye burnt food. This is the misted used appliance we use for cooking food now. Over the moon I got chosen to try this absolutely amazing. Thank hometester !

The Tefal grill was amazing. With preset temperatures for certain food types, but also having the ability to manually change it, made cooking on the grill so easy and simple. It was easy to follow the instructions and didn't take too long to set up. The grills themselves took a little while to warm up at first. But then eventually once used a couple of times the elements heated quickly. The grills were easy to remove and wash down. The other parts were not difficult to clean either. We made not only fab toasties, but did several indoor BBQs on the grill. It didn't retain any of the grease on the food, and the drip tray made this really handy to clean. The size was perfect for when we were hosting family over. The family loved it! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good sized grill.

Absolutely thrilled with this item. Cooks items perfectly from fish to steak, toasties and even vegetables! Makes cooking so easy! Another thing that sets this off from other grills is the removable grill trays making it so easy to clean. Top product! Highly recommend
