Tefal OptiGrill Elite XL

I would highly recommend the Tefal optigrill elite XL. It's easy to clean as the plates come off with just a push of a button. It came with an easy to use instruction booklet that also had recipe ideas. We loved the fact you could chose a preset cooking option for a variety of foods as well as having the option to select a Manuel mode, this meant you could chose the temperature and time you wanted to cook at/ for. The option to cook from frozen was great too. We have so far used it for steak, chicken kebabs, bacon and paninis which the whole family enjoyed . The grill is easy to use and cooks food to perfection, a great piece of equipment for any kitchen.

This is one of the best grills I've used. It makes it so easy to cook things to the right temperature or way you want it. Other grills make it easy to burn if you get distracted with other prep but this one felt like it made cooking flow more easily knowing that it will be cooking toin the way I want it. Buttons are easy to use to select what you're cooking.

I was not sure about the grill when it arrived but my opinion soon changed . The grill arrived packaged lovely it comes with not only the instruction book but a lovely little recipe book which was helpfull . We started with steak selected the beef option and let the grill do its thing measuring the thickness and then it counted down cooking time from blue to well done . We had are steak medium it was cooked perfectly and tasted so juicy first win for the grill . Breakfast the next day I did bacon and sausages both cooked perfectly just had to stabilise the sausages from jumping free we also cooked tomato from the garden perfect . That evening we did chicken for club sandwiches the chicken was so juicy . This is an amazing grill it cooks so well it cuts cooking times and to clean simply remove the grease tray and grill trays and they go in the dishwasher amazing The only downsize is the room it takes up but as a family of 4 we need the xlI highly recommend the grill it’s amazing

It is an amazing product. I have cooked chicken, burgers and steaks in it and all have came out to perfection. I didn’t have to worry about the meat being uncooked as this amazing product calculates all by it self or Manuel if you prefer. This is an ideal item for someone who is learning to cook and wouldn’t need to worry about spoiling the food as well as an expert to make life easy as the food is cooked hassle free.

This grill blew me away. It’s sensational. I’ve cooked a variety of things on this now & it’s so easy & convenient. It takes about 10 mins for a perfectly grilled chicken breast, 3 mins for crispy bacon.. and they are cooked to perfection. I love the smart screen on this, it has so many different built in modes, i haven’t even needed to use the manual mode yet. The grill plates clip out with ease so you can clean them with no bother. It takes a few minutes to heat up so make sure you’re turning it on 3-5mins before you actually want to start cooking. I was sceptical about he size of this thing as it is XL and i cook for 2 people. However, I actually don’t find it to be too big. Several times i’ve filled it out and if i’d have had a smaller one, i’d have needed to do to loads so it’s actually perfect!

This is an amazing piece of kit! I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now and I have to say it’s rather addictive, I’ve cooked homemade burger, halloumi and veggies on it and they come out better that an oven. I will be using this for more dinners and I will be recommending it to my friends and family.

Overall, I thought this was a good grilling/cooking product. However there was some issues I found and for the price it sells for I am unsure whether I would actually purchase it against other similar priced ranges. Firstly, to talk to the grilling of food. I tested multiple food products for this, with varying thickness and cuts of meat. I found that on certain things it took quite long (normal Cumberland sausages taking 17 mins, I have grilled them quicker with a pan) and others the timing is slightly off ( For steaks I found that you want the next type, so rare would be what the grill thinks is medium). I found this across different thicknesses, however overall it was a fantastic grill once you got used to how it cooked. As for the cleaning of the product, it couldn’t have been easier and it’s not a chore to separate and individually clean the plates. Finally, the interface is very friendly and very helpful at seeing how long is left to preheat/grill etc.

This grill is brilliant, it has its own built in auto menu and also manual mode. In both modes it has a pre heat which you can add to, from frozen and searing, then lets you know when to add food. In auto it then measures the thickness and gives you a cooking time, which if you want can be overridden. In manual mode you set the temperature and the cooking time. It sears while its cooking anyway but if you like dark searing you use the searing touch button in the warming up section of operation. It cooks to perfection and don't disappoint. It is so easy to clean the grill plates as they clip off and can be washed with soapy water or in the dishwasher. I would highly recommend it as the results are amazing

As soon as this product arrived we were desperate to try it out, it was so easy to set up and find a setting to cook our meat exactly how we liked it, it cooked to perfection and kept the taste and moisture in! It’s so fun to try out things like toasties and vegetables too! It makes cooking fun and the tray and grill attachments make it really easy to clean!

Grill overall is a good item to have . Large enough for large family meal. . Have cooked steak, bacon, chicken and pananis in it and all have been amazing Recipe book that came with the item has some good ideas in it. Only downside I would say is how long it takes to preheat hence not a 5 star product

I found the grill to be the perfect size to cook our family meals. I tried out steak and pork loins and sausages in bacon and they were so easy to cook and tasted delicious. I always struggle to make my steak medium and the simple way of preheating and choosing the meat I was cooking and the fact it gave me a countdown with choices was great. The grill was roomy enough to cook 2 massive ribeye steaks and then I also cooked 3 thick cut pork loins. The grill parts are easily removed with a click of a button and then cleaned using soap and water. This helps keep the grill completely clean for all use. It has a handy drip catcher too. I would recommend this for a busy family who like to grill their food. (So much healthier)

For me, it is the perfect replacement for a garden grill. It will work well in the home of anyone who cannot afford an outdoor grill. Heats up quickly. The food comes out very tasty.

Wow I am so impressed with this grill! Easy and quick to use and fabulous results! Everything I grilled tasted so lovely! Nice design, modern and look perfect in my kitchen! Love it!

It is really game changer for me for cooking at home with easy . Morning breakfast is really great with for roast chicken or hotdog . Easy to used and eady to clean after using.
