Great game , kids were a bit confused when I told them it wasn’t normal monopoly. They had a great time playing it . Kids ages were 8 & 12 . Would definitely recommend

Monopoly with a twist
Very much like regular monopoly but the Mr Monopoly does give a bit of a twist. Took us a while to get our head round the rules. But a few times reading through we got it. We found that it's all about timing when you want to exchange your tokens for Mr Monopoly. An interesting twist on the game. Now part of our regular go to board games

Hit and miss by Monopoly.
First off, this is a rather cheap rendition of Monopoly, there's nowhere to store cash and cards nicely like in previous editions which had nice plastic inserts. The colour scheme of red and black isn't great for even those with good eyesight! We constantly lost sight of the dice and sore loser coins. The main issue is the new rules, there's far too many for everyone to follow consistently around the board and I certainly could not expect our nearly 8 year old to follow this at all. Nor is it good with just 2 players. Not only this but there was some contradictory rules which didn't make sense within the main rules and when you picked up the cards. I love Monopoly but this game simply wasn't enjoyable. This game does not aide sore losers at all and in fact caused more arguments and frustration than the original game. Overall, I think this game will only appeal to proper Monopoly fans and those who get dragged into it by their family, still won't enjoy it!

Monopoly for Sore Losers.
Firstly, we are massive monopoly fans so testing this was totally up our street. We missed the holder for the properties and money, especially when once put away, when we got it out to play again everything needed to organised again. Also there seemed not enough money within the kit. We were only 4 players but we nearly ran out of money on several occasions.
It took a couple of games to get into the swing of the sore loser coins and Mr Monoply...although made it better with the high and lows that Mr Monopoly provides.
Having a definitive end for the game was good- one we may adopt for the normal game, we have had games that last days!!Getting an extra bonus if you are Mr Monopoly at the end of the game would also have been a good idea too.. A simplier method of calculating the winner would have also helped.
It was a good twist and we did enjoy playing it, but for us, it wont replace the classic.

something for everyone
Fantastic game that the whole family 9-39 loved. it has all the play-ability of the original yet kept you more engaged and surprisingly no boards were thrown. My 9 year old has asked to take it on a play-date already and we have organised a time and day for a new family game.
if you want something that everyone will enjoy and actually make your teenage daughter sit with the family this is the game for you (if you don't want you teenager to play tell them its rubbish). five out of five just wish we had found this at the start of lock down! but i' during i'm sure this will be played over and over during the early nights and wet weekends of British winter.
We collect different Monopolies as a family so the new concept of this one was great fun to play! We look forward to playing it again with more players and my children found it hilarious to benefit from going to jail etc!

Fun, alternative monopoly
The family really enjoyed this game. It is great to have the chance to be 'Mr Monopoly' and change your fortunes a bit whilst other players can't do anything about it. Definitely brought out our competitive side! Rules are relatively easy to understand. Obviously not the same as traditional monopoly but a fun change every now and then. Only downside was that the plastic pieces felt cheaply made.

Five star review
This new take on an already successful game we felt actually improved the experience
Whereas during the normal game a leader is obvious within minutes, with this version, the lead kept changing, there was no guarantee a player with money and property will keep either, as ‘Mr Monopoly’ can be brutal
Played it with 2 adults, a teenager and a 9 year old - all loved it....
....would DEFINITELY recommend

A review on Monopoly for Sore Losers
It’s a really fun game, where families can enjoy a quiet fun day in playing as if they’re businesses but with a twist. I’m teaching my children how to play it and although they still don’t understand it they still enjoy it. I would recommend if you want to play monopoly with a twist (a very fun twist). The only thing is at first it’s a bit confusing on what’s happening but if you read the instructions well and play it a few times (maybe even the first time, like me!) you’ll understand it fairly easily. I love the twist to the game, it’s brilliant recommend 10/10!

Top notch board game.
A great board game for the whole family! Thoroughly enjoyable, usually one of my sons gets bored and stops playing but not this time. Looking forward to our next family games night.
