We (2 adults and 2 kids) found this version of Monopoly to be very enjoyable to play. We have a few different versions of the classic game, but found the new rules of this version to be something that allowed the game to be completely turned on its head in an instance. The usually annoying things like paying rent are rewarded with 'sore loser' coins. When you have enough of these you exchange them to get control of Mr Monopoly and the fightback begins. You suddenly, among other things, have the power to collect rent rather than pay it. The included chance and community chest cards that for example give you instant control of Mr Monopoly, adds to the fun. These changes, mean that your are never out of the game right up until the end. Younger members especially liked the new rules that allowed them to turn the tables on adults. You may need to develop different tactics to normal monopoly versions, but the game is full of fun and twists that the whole family will enjoy.

Fun Fun Fun
Its a real fun family game with a twist of sore loser coin. Really enjoyed it its the game of The more the merier.
This is a brilliant spin on the traditional monopoly game. Usually very competitive in winning monopoly this was completely different, the aim of the game is to lose which I massively struggled with 🤣
We organised a family game night including my 11 year old daughter. She was able to get stuck in and not get lost along the way with the rules. Most the time when playing games she gets disheartened due to "losing" but with this being the aim she was right up the top of the board!!
Needless to say the family and I will be cracking this one out in the future for many more laughs.
I played this with my husband and 6 year old son who needed a little help keeping up with the rules but generally managed ok. The 8+ age rating is probably accurate as he wouldn't be able to play with his peers.
We had great fun, being 'Mr Monopoly' was a game changer! On more than one occasion my husband was almost bankrupt but claimed Mr Monopoly and ended up rich! Stealing things from other players provides more interaction (and laughing) among players.
We liked the darker take on the traditional pieces such as sinking ship as this was in keeping with this version of the game. The dinosaur wouldn't stay upright but maybe I'm just being pedantic.
As an improvement I would have liked somewhere to store all the money and card types separately.
We also liked that this version had a set ending. And the winner is the richest rather than playing to be last man standing.
All in all this game gave my family a couple of hours of laughs and bonding, I'd definitely recommend.

a fun game to play with the whole family
The Family had the most fun with Monopoly for sore losers. We actually managed to finish a game of monopoly without anyone giving up or tantrums ! Lots of laughs. Prefer playing a monopoly Game with actual monopoly money it makes the game more interactive and good to practice your maths skills. The more players the more fun I would say at least 3 players preferably more. The only downside was that it didn’t have a money and card holder Which would’ve come in handy, we had to use one from my other monopoly game. I think it mentions to place cards on the board but I think they are too big to place and there are too many things on the board. But otherwise thoroughly enjoyed the game !

Our new go to game for family fun.
As a family of Monopoly enthusiasts, we all thoroughly enjoyed this edition. The properties had the original names which was nice and familiar but the general game play was obvious very different. You still all start with the same amount of money as a normal game but this version definitely gives everyone a fair chance of winning if they are lagging behind. It does mean that the game can last longer so be prepared to start this game early in the day! There were new 'Chance' and 'Community Chest' cards which also added a little more excitement to the game. The one and only thing I would change about this game is the dark colouring of the board, and the fact that the dice are black with red dots which makes it difficult for people with poor vision to be able to see the dark dice against the dark board. Despite this, it is a definite go to game from now on.

Now even the Loser can be a Winner
Monopoly with an interesting twist. Especially when playing Monopoly with younger kids you always have it that one is getting upset because “it is always me” who ends up in Jail or has to pay lots and lots in rent. But now comes “Monopoly For Sore Losers”.
It is great since whenever you now land in Jail, have to pay a fine or pay rent, you get a Sore Loser coin which, once you have collected 4, you can exchange them to become Mr Monopoly and up until someone else gets 4 coins together, it only goes up for you. My son managed to make it from nearly Bankrupt to winning the game thanks to this addition. I can only recommend, a brilliant twist on the original, increasing the fun without loosing the well known gameplay.

Great family fun
What a brilliant game .at last a game of monopoly didn't end with the kids falling out and the monopoly money being all over the place .monopoly sore losers is a realy good family game. Can't wait to invite the family round for more games .my son is already asking me for another game this morning . definitely worth getting for some good family fun .
Great variation on the original Monopoly game which introduces an element of tactics, whereas the original game is largely down to the roll of the dice. Played it with my 7 and 9 year old kids, there were quite a lot of giggles - 7 year old kept getting excited when I landed on her properties but then that changed when she realised I was Mr Monopoly and that she had to pay me! Bit difficult when I had to choose one of the kids to “lose out” although sometimes there was only one I could chose (ie only one had a Mr Monopoly coin I could take or one was already in jail). Got the kids brains working more which is always good. I would have preferred the graphics on the board to be a little bit lighter/brighter but I suppose they want to differentiate from the original game colouring. Overall a great game that we will play and we liked the variation of the Mr Monopoly element, although the original Monopoly will still be a firm favourite in our house.

Great fun for all the family
Monopoly is always hours of fun and a favourite in our household and although this game took a little bit of getting used to the whole family enjoyed it. The only bad thing I actually found wrong is the dinosaur token will tend to topple over so we just let him in the end.

Great twist on a modern classic.
Great game with a twist on the original. Takes a couple of times to read the rules, but you soon get the hang of it, but it doesn’t take long. Game play is a bit quicker than the original, but just as much fun. Brilliant new cards from the Chance and Community Chest with fun and up to date ideas. The concept of Mt Monopoly is cleaver, and everyone was racing to be him. Our family of four really enjoyed playing this, and are eager to play again so they can win !

Nice variant how to spend time with kids
My kids were really excited, cause had experiance playing classic monopoly for couple years already.
New rules, new appearance.
Played 3 times without winner, because of mr Monopoly for us game was endless.
Positive sides: really colourful, has new figures, interesting Mr Monopoly character which everyone wants to get.
Negative: no money tray for easy and quick calculation, as was in classic one.
Houses are very light and move easily when you don't need it
Rules sometimes bit confusing.

5* family game
This game is brilliant specially when playing with kids that do not like losing
My 2 daughters aged 8 and 11 and niece aged 8 sat and texted this game out under my watchful eye. They read the rules VERY carefully and took great care to lay the board out well. They took great interest in the MR MONOPOLY character and the sore loser coins. Monopoly has been played this evening with laughs and smiles and the dreaded moments of “go to jail” or “aw noooo I need to pay tax” is rejoiced by collecting a sore loser coin and hopefully getting a chance to be MR MONOPOLY, who instead of paying tax earns the tax money and can steal properties! He also gets to take the rent money on all properties he lands on from the people who own them! What a brilliant change it up idea and an amazing way to learn no matter how much you forward plan or apply strategies, life throws curve balls that don’t guarantee you will win! It’s also great for people who don’t generally have the best luck or board game strategies to give them a chance at winning! Brilliant!

Monolopy does it again! Amazing
This game is amazing. The whole family loves playing monolopy but the twist in the game makes it feel like your playing a whole different game entirely. The whole family had fun, young and old. Its a really good game for making everyone come together.
