Lost the Pot Noodles

3.2 5 0 309 309 Pot Noodle has launched new 'potless' noodles, called Lost The Pot Noodles, which come in three different flavours – Curry, Roast Chicken and Sweet Chilli. These can be added to a bowl or cup with boiling water – the same way the regular Pot Noodles are made – or can be made in a saucepan, over the hob.

Something different
I was intrigued to try these however wasn’t overly impressed with the quality. Taste nothing like pot noodles and are like a cheap own brand noodle.

Taste issues
I followed the instructions as I know I am going to review this product but I don't no if it's for me. It's cheaper than most but with good reason. The taste is just not right it's weak. The good points are it's quick, and the packet is small so easy to take to work for a snack. That's the best I can say about this product.

Unsure on this
Picked these up as a quick lunch and these were very reasonably priced against other noodles on the shelf. They were quick enough to make but I feel like they don’t taste like normal pot noodles so I’m a bit on the fence with these. Good size portion and tasty enough just not really a pot noodle I don’t think

Where’s the pot?
Oh no! Pot noodle requires a pot! Usual pot noodle flavour which is great.. but I don’t want to be messing around finding a bowl!

great noodles

Similar to other dried noodles
Similar to other dried noodles in packets. Cheaper than the pot variety. Similar to other products

Not as tasty as other brands.
As others have said these are a little lacking in flavour. I waited until the water was absorbed before adding the flavour sachet, in hope it would enhance the flavour, to no avail. However, my children loved the more subtle flavour. They also enjoyed the lack of "bits" that come with standard pot noodles.

lost more than the pot
These are good noodles in themselves if you don't compare them to a pot noodle. I managed to grab the bbq flavour in heron foods for 29p recently so that's definitely a bargain! Overall, good noodles but not really anything like a pot noodle.

Not much taster
I was excited to try these as I love pot noodle, I was disappointed. Not much flavour at all, I had to add my own seasoning to make them taste ok.

No good
I love a pot noodle and couldn’t wait to try this. They were very disappointing. Very little taste with a very watery texture. Won’t get this again unfortunately. Do not recommend

Lost the pot noodles
My grand daughter loves these. Aleaws have a few packets in cupboard for her. I used to buy the pots however she said that you get more this way and more filling. Love the different and new flavours.
