Laphroaig Lore Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky

4.7 5 0 58 58 Created using techniques that have been passed down for generations, this single malt Scotch is made from some of the most precious whiskies in our Atlantic storehouse. Our master distillers select spirits from five different cask types, including ex-Bourbon barrels, 19th Century-style quarter casks and large Oloroso sherry butts. Aged anywhere from seven years to 21 years, each spirit brings its own element — and lore — to the blend. The result is the richest expression of our unforgettable peated whisky.

Strong and enjoyable
As soon as I opened the bottle I could tell I was going to enjoy it. Smelt very peaty and the taste didn't disappoint. Wasn't as firey on the throat as other single malts I've had in the past but there was still plenty of warmth. Drank it neat with no ice In front of the TV one evening and didn't realise how strong it was until I stood up, would definitely purchase again.

Mature Single Malt
This whiskey has flavoured true sherry and reused peated casks which gives a the drink a strong matured flavour. It has a long and sweet, spicy aftertaste. I really liked it on it`s own with ice. I love the packaging and design. It is clear and neat and it makes it giftable.

Rich and perfect
I love the Smokey peaty flavour and fragrance of this whiskey. It is perfect served over ice. It is smooth and rich. I will be buying more. Great after dinner drink to share with friends.

Great evolution of Laphroaig
I really enjoyed this latest creation from Laphroaig. All the classic smoky, sea spray and iodine character you associate from this distillery, but bolstered with a rich sherry and vanilla backbone. A richer mouthfeel than the 10 year old lends itself to a luxurious feel and longer finish. A great dram indeed!

Lovely tipple
I’m very happy with this whiskey, I’ve enjoyed a glass of this mixed with Coca Cola every night and it’s just beautiful. it comes nicely packaged, it tastes great. I’ve even tried some neat! Thank you home tester club. I will definitely be recommending this to friends and family & would buy again myself.

Whiskey
Laphroaig single malt scotch whisky is one of a kind. I love the warm texture and flavor it comes with. You can mix it with coke or choose not to. I always rebuy and highly recommend.
