Compact User Friendly Coffee Machine
This machine is very compact so fits well on the work surface and does not take up much room. Due to its compact size it would also be easy to use in caravans/motorhomes due to its small footprint. Even though this is a compact machine it does not mean there are minimal features. I was surprised and pleased that this machine has a water tank, steam function, original coffee filter holder like the large expensive machines you see in coffee shops, and it can make two espressos at the same time. You can also use pods with this machine which is an additional bonus. There are minimal buttons/switches which makes it very easy to use. The materials used make the machine high quality and it has an attractive design. Comes with a tamper/spoon which is useful. It is not the best due to the steam option not being able to create high textured milk, but for a starter this machine is ideal. The other downside is that coffee grounds are required as it is not a ‘bean to cup’ machine.

Krups Virtuoso Coffee Machine
At first I was a bit unsure how to use the machine. It was very easy to set up. I followed the instructions in the handbook and made myself a gorgeous cup of coffee. It seems daunting to start with, but is actually no problem to use. I used filter coffee first, but it’s good for steaming milk with hot chocolate too. You can use the coffee pods as well. All round it a great, compact, handy little machine.

Easy to use
Easy to use. I was surprised how quickly it made a cup of expresso. Machines I have used in the past have delivered a cup of coffee that is only luke warm,so I was surprised that this produced a cup at the optimum temperature. The machine is easy to keep clean, doesn’t take up too much room and looks stylish

Small amd Sleek
Small, sleek and stylish. The Krups Virtuoso XP442C4 does not dissapoint in terms of delivering the desired cup of coffee that you would expect from a full sized machine while taking minimal space on your worktops. So Easy to use, it makes you feel like your the barista making the perfect espresso. The only downside is, while keeping it small and compact, you will have to move the machine to the edge of the worktop each time you need use the steamer as it is difficult to remove the milk jug after it has frothed. All in all, the KRUPS Virtuoso XP442C4 would be a welcome addition to any home, big or small.

Krups Virtuoso Pump Espresso
Firstly, this coffee machine is not as enormous as the delivery box suggests - it is slimline and compact and should fit in most kitchens. Simple to unwrap with minimal packaging - all recyclable. It's easy to set up following the simple instructions. The machine heats surprisingly quickly, so you have a delicious brew in no time at all. Be careful, because it will stay hot for a while - particularly the filter and filter holder - something to note if you're making drinks for several people. I drink larger cups of coffee - this is easy to accommodate by removing the drip tray grille and adjusting the delivery volume following the instructions. I used Lavazza Espresso Italiano ground coffee,which gave a great flavoured cup of coffee. All of the elements are easy to clean and store. This is a great addition to the kitchen or office.

Compact yet powerful.
Pleasantly surprised by this coffee machine. It is compact and has a small footprint but makes quality coffee at the touch of a button. The espresso has a nice crema on top and the steam wand froths milk beautifully for cappuccino/latte/macchiato. It is easy to make 2 espressos at the same time even though the base is a bit narrow to fit two cappuccino/latte cups. I like the fact that I can choose between ese pods and ground coffee when pressed for time. Both are more environmentally friendly than pods. I do find the steam wand slightly difficult to manoeuvre from the milk pot/jug after frothing the milk and the cup warmer tray takes a long time to heat up, otherwise this Krups Virtuoso is a stylish coffee machine which with practice does make barista style coffee at home.

Better than expected
I've been researching coffee machines for over two years now - too bulky, too expensive, too inefficient, not eco-friendly (pods), etc.,etc. The list of why-not-to-buy was long. Then came the KRUPS Virtuoso - first impressions? It's slimline and compact, taking up very little counterspace and looks really sleek, easy to maintain and clean. It proved it was as it looked with an easy deep clean cycle. And it could use industrial pods but, just as easily use ground coffee. Our cups of espressos were beautiful. Consistently good. We have to play around with the settings and try different drinks, but the OH has taken over and I've yet to use it. Ill try making a latte, perhaps. We only have americanos otherwise. We totally, absolutely recommend the KRUPS Virtuoso. We just have to get used to it, instead of our trusty cafetiere.

Pros: -Nice sleek compact design - looks great in kitchen - heats up quickly - milk frother makes great cappuccino cons - cleaning of used coffee is fiddly and not as easy as other machines as it can stick and you have to scoop out rather than just tap it out it would have been good if their was an automatic switch off just in case you forget

Easy and quick Espresso
I'd say that Krups Virtuoso machine is a quick and easy way to prepare a good espresso. The machine is really simple and easy to use with no major explanation necessary. There are positive and negative points to be measured before a buy decision. Starting with positive, I'd say that the machine is really beautiful, calling attention from guests and it can be also considered as something to be always seen in our house. Easy to fill water as well and to prepare the espresso coffee. I could test both sizes and liked both (the double is better for me). The tools to prepare are good and easy to clean and don't make mess with the ground coffee. I have another machine to compare in relation to espresso preparation and clean process (Breville 3x1). This is really better. Negative: not clear type of pods to be used. Compared to Breville, we can make DolceGusto pods that is an advantage (and filtered as well), but machine is bigger. For a good price, Krupps can be a option for purchasing.

Upgrade to coffee’s at home!
The machine does a great job at making coffee, it is easy to use and extremely compact. The cup warmer is a nice additional feature although I’m not sure how much this will be used. I have found it to warm up quickly and with the size of the water tank it can make a number of coffees before having to re-fill this.

Good but could be better
Pro- looks nice and stylish on my worktop. Doesn’t take up much room. Makes a nice coffee quickly and hot. Good milk frother-tastes nice Cons- need a smaller coffee cup to put under the nozzle, difficult to lift the milk frother and it’s too close to the surface to get under it, difficult to clean the coffee out, poor instructions for using the frother . Moves about on the worktop when in use. Vibrated any items on the top. Would benefit from a thermometer, something to clean out the coffee and a jug for the milk.

Stylish, slimline coffee machine!
I’ve been after a new coffee machine for a while now but they all seem quite big and bulky and likely to take up a lot of space on my (limited) counter top space. I was really excited to try the slimline KRUPS Virtuoso. It looks very neat and tidy (but also stylish) on my kitchen countertop and takes up very little space. I found the machine itself really easy to set up and use straight out of the box. It comes with very clear instructions and the instruction leaflet has handy diagrams which were useful. I had a hot and strong espresso in my hand in minutes! The construction of the coffee machine seems solid and I don’t feel as though it’s going to break as I put the filter or the water container into position. It is also a very quiet machine and doesn’t have the clunky whirling noises that previous coffee machine I’ve used in the past have.

Super fast to heat and simple to use
This coffee machine initially scared me as it had lots of buttons and different parts, however, instructions on how to set it up and use it are really simple and easy to follow. The water heats up really quickly, as does the steam function for the milk. The coffee section is easy to attach and has 3 different attachments 1 cup, 2 cups and pods - this was the only thing I was keen on that the attachments are loose so when emptying the coffee you can’t just tap over the bin. But it is super simple to switch them over and they clean up super quick with a quick rinse under water. The buttons are so easy to use and will flashing different colours to let you know when it’s heating or ready. The milk frothing took a bit of time to master but following rereading the instructions I have got this done to a fine art and it makes lovely frothy milk. Overall, this is a super machine which produces shop quality coffee and can be used with both ground coffee and coffee pods.
