A good techie kettle, could be great.
Overall the kettle is a good product. Positives include: display to see the live temperature of the water, options to set the desired temperature of the water, visually appealing and easy to pour. Aspects that could be improved to make it great are: no external indication of water fill level, the conical shape makes it slightly awkward to fill from a water filter jug, the lid button isn't the easiest to use (almost feels like you have to double down on it, to get it to work) and the icons for the temperature levels are very oriented towards tea drinkers.

Very Good kettle with helpful features
I really liked the digital display and found it very helpful, easy to read and clever to see the rising temperature being displayed. The double layer on the outside which meant the kettle didn't go hot was a nice safety feature and appreciated as I have previously been burnt by a hot kettle. The temperature control feature was very useful for cooking and is one I use very regularly for making tea and coffee so it is at a drinkable temperature when first made.

Surprised with the multiple options.
I absolutely love this kettle. The water boils so quick and it is fantastic if you don’t want your water to be really hot as you can adjust the temperature at your own choice. Some teas and coffees require the water not to be boiling, and the settings of this kettle make it really easy to do so. I highly recommend it.

Efficient, Smart and Good Looking Kettle
This kettle highlighted how little we actually need 100 degree water that other kettles provide. The handbook gives temperatures for a range of drinks, and we tested black tea, green tea and instant coffee. None of them needed 100 degrees and the suggested temperature worked great. One of the best things about the kettle is the keep warm feature which was really handy. Even without it, the thick insulated walls meant the water stayed relatively hot for a long time anyway. The digital display is great to show how hot the water is inside and whether or not it needs another boil. The only single downside we found with this kettle was that if the sun is shining into the room (and onto/near the kettle) then the digital display cant be seen. Obviously if you cover it with you hand you can then see it, so not really an issue, but the only negative thing we found.

A watched kettle does boil
Firstly the kettle has a really modern design that easily fits in with my kitchen. They say a watched kettle never boils, but thats not the case with this; you can actually see the temperature rising on the digital display. I found the keep warm function really handy, my partner and I leave the house at slightly different times in the morning we can just leave it on keep warm and leave the home with a nice warm brew. The double walled lining keeps sustains the temperature in between use, making it more efficient, therefore saving money and the environment.

Tefal Smart Kettle - first impression!
The kettle looks modern and looks great in the kitchen. It does its job. Half stars deducted for no visible water level outside. Heats the water quickly and cools down slowly, plus the possibility of programming the heating temperature. Useful with a small child, when you need water at 40C milk;) Overall, I am very happy with the kettle. I recommend!

Tefal Smart N Light kettle
It has very stylish minimalistic design, has big digital lights for temperatures I think that looks very cool. The base is part of the design blends in nicely . Boiling the water is fairly quiet, when reached the selected temperature has 2 beeps. The function buttons are on the top of the handle very easy to select required temperature. The lid it is bit flimsy to open up with a button on the top wich is a bit annoying and it opens in an angle so need to pull back to fully open. The capacity of the kettle its average, you probably would think its bigger capacity because the design, but it has nice premium stainless steel insulation which keeps the water warm for longer, and easy to clean . No water level display from outside, so you don't see how much water is in unless you open the lid. Filling up fairly easy, there is a min and a max 1.5 l mark which is more visible if the lid is fully open.

Style over substance ?
This product looks more interesting in the kitchen than a basic kettle, good idea but when it said smart kettle I expected more maybe for it to boil at the time Of Waking up In a morning, For me I always like my water super hot so it made no difference to me I always had to boil it everytime. Nice idea of updating the kettle But still just a “KETTLE”.

Good kettle, could be so much more
The kettle is aesthetically very pleasing, and the digital screen showing the temperature is handy. I feel slightly disapointed that this kettle could easily be so much more. It doesn't show the water level, so it's hard to judge how much water to boil for just 1 cup of tea. The pre-programmed temperatures are not changable either.

10/10 amazing!
The kettle is amazing!! It looks sleek and modern and the digital display really makes it stand out. I love that I can select the temperature I want instead of waiting for boiling water to cool down or guessing mid way through boiling if its ready or not. Its handy that I can check the temperature of the water if its been sitting a while, saves unnecessary reboiling. The keep warm function is great and such an innovative idea, really helpful, especially when I've been cooking. The only downside for me was that there is noway to tell how much water is in the kettle and because its already quite heavy it was hard to judge by weight, because of this I found myself opening the lid quite often. The button that opens the lid feels a little flimsy and sometimes doesn't work on the first try so I’d recommend going easy on it for anyone thinking of purchasing this kettle. Overall a very good product and so much better than a regular kettle. I highly recommend

Good looking ‘smart’ kettle
The Tefal Smart N Light kettle looks great and premium in the kitchen. The kettle has a gloss / glass finish that makes it look sleek. It’s a heavy kettle which is understandable given the cool touch feature of the kettle and built in digital display. The ability to set the temperature is a good feature, although I tended to always revert to 100 degrees to ensure the water was right for ‘normal’ tea. Being able to keep warm is also useful if planning to use again in short space of time. The only downside for me is the weight and not the most easy kettle to fill as the lid is quite narrow and doesn’t open even 90 degrees...not a drama just not as easy to fill as other kettles I’ve owned. All in all a good looking ‘premium’ styled kettle.

Great smart kettle
This is a great kettle for a family that has different preferences when it comes to hot drinks. The one touch button to heat to 100 degrees makes life quick and easy with water staying at a good temperature for 30 minutes I think this kettle would be great for making up baby bottles because of the temperature indicator at the front

Modern, Sleek and Stylish - love it!
I love the kettle! It’s very sleek and stylish, and the multi-temperature function allows me to enjoy a range of hot drinks at the correct temperature. The lid does stick a bit, I find myself having to press the button a few times, but it’s not the end of the world. I’d also have preferred a visible fill line shown on the outside, but you can see when you fill it so again it’s not that much of an issue. The ‘keep warm’ function is great for when my partner gets up before me aswell, I can grab a brew later on and the water is still hot. I love the digital temperature too, it’s very modern. I would definitely have bought this for myself.

More style than substance
The kettle looks sleek and stylish and boasts multiple temperature options. Pros: Looks good The keep warm feature is useful The different temperature choices are handy for different types of drink. Cons: Heavy, even when empty. The push button to open the lid isn’t always responsive There is no external way of seeing how much water is in the kettle. There are markings inside the kettle but they are difficult to see when you are filling it.

Beautiful design, not that "Smart".
This kettle is beautifully made. It's a very bold black colour and feels nice and sturdy. I also love the digital temperature display on the front and the fact that you didn't have to boil the kettle each time to 100 degrees. I found that the kettle took longer than I expected to boil (and this wasn't with a full tank). I also feel that the push buttons on the top of the handle were quite "squidgy" and that the text of graphic would wear off these in no time. I found the 30 min keep warm function absolutely useless. Unfortunately, the minute you picked up the kettle to refill the cup, you'd lost that 30 minute setting you had programmed. I was also a bit disappointed with the "pour" itself. I would have expected that to be smoother.
