LOVED
This product was great! Covered my greys so well where I haven’t got chance to go to the hairdressers with 3 small children. It helped me feel confident and lasted all day! Was really easy to apply and will continue to use going forward.

Spray and Go
I have coloured my hair for many years and am always on the look out for a root touch up product for those days in between colour weeks. I found the Clairol spray quick and easy to use. The can is a good size and could easily fit in your bag for on-the-go emergencies. I tested the Medium Brown shade which wasn’t ideal for me as my hair is currently a plum/reddy shade. However, despite this, the spray did a really good job of hiding my very grey roots! I had to blend it in to more of the hair length, but that was easy enough as the spray is easy to direct. I brushed it through and although it darkened my hair colour, it did the job. It does wash out after one or two washes but it’s so quick to apply that wasn’t a problem. I would love it if they offered more shades or a matching service because I would definitely use it! It also gave my hair a bit more body and volume between washes so all round a great product. 4 stars only because it wasn’t my actual shade but otherwise fab.

Colour but no added volume
I used this every other day after washing my hair to delay the use of root touch-up dye, but it wasn't as good as my usual brand. The medium brown colour of this spray was fairly close to my natural brown, but it didn't cover my grey hairs fully and I could still see the difference in colour of the strands, even after spraying. I also had to be careful not to spray too close as it stained my scalp and surrounding skin easily.
I didn't notice any benefits in terms being able to add volume with the spray, it just added the usual slightly chalky texture to my hair, a bit like you get when using greasy root sprays, and it makes you feel the need to wash it out of your hair.
I really liked this product, it was easy to use and completely covered my greys. It was a really quick easy fix and the colour blended with my own hair very nicely too. The only slight downside was transfer on to my hands where I had touched my hair. I would definitely use again and recommend to friends and family.

Easy colour
This is a rally easy and effective way to put some colour on you hair. I tried a brown shade and although it is advertised as root touch up I have a wide streak of white on my hair and this spray was incredible. It covered but without giving a cover all, one colour look . It looked so natural. It also puts some thickness or body in your hair. My hair is very thick where it still has colour but the white bits are fine. I could not believe the difference. It is amazing. I am completely happy with this product. I hope they produce it in a full range of colours including the pinks and purples so often seen now.
I found Clairol root touch up covered my grey hair that came through at the roots, it also gave my hair a bit of a lift, it wasn’t quite the same colour of my hair as my hair is light brown and the colour I tried was dark brown, but it certainly made my hair look better with it.
I would buy this product as a way to save me going to the hairdresser to get my roots done only I would buy a lighter shade.
Very disappointed! I frequently use a different brand of this product and this one was very poor. Make my hair sticky, set hard, colour came off on my hands (even after an hour) and the greys started to show through very soon after application.
Only good thing I can say about this product is that it was a good colour.

Quick fix for regrowth
In anticipation of trialing this I'd let my roots get longer than normal and I couldn't wait to cover them up. I loved the colour and it evenly and completely covered my half brown half grey roots. The colour is a lovely rich brown and matches perfectly with the colour I use. For best results I would recommend getting a friend or family member to do it or at least check your neck and ears aren't brown before you go out. It also adds volume and leaves hair looking shiny and healthy. It will definitely be a regular addition to my haircare purchases for those times I just can't face dying it. I would also add that although the can is small it actually goes a long way and the colour lasts until you wash it again. 10/10
I really enjoyed using the touch up, nice smell. Covered my greys and quick drying. Even after going to gym and washing my hair the colour stayed put. Would definetley buy but may go for the lighter brown. Once dry colour is a little darker.I accidentally got a little on a white top but washed out no staining. Bonus.

Clairol Root Touch up
I found it very hard to press the spray button, putting all my effort into that would move it so was not able to get a targeted area. I found the grey regrowth would not hold the colour but my scalp would get stained.
I liked the product, very handy at covering my white hairs in my fringe before my hairdressers appointment.
The coverage and colour were both good. You could feel it on your hair - it weighted my hair down a little bit but I have very fine hair.
Would use again and would recommend.
I've received this product as part of the Home Tester Club. It is easy to use and just a quick spray covers gray roots and strands. It doesn't have a strong smell. The mist is fine but not too directional, covering a lot of area with just one spray. It doesn't stain after it's applied to the hair. It also gives some volume and doesn't weight down the hair.

Nice Product.
I actually really liked this product ... Its coverage was really good . It didn't feel as tacky on the hair Like some of the touch ups I've bought in the past & blended in really nice with my own colour hair. ....Well done Clairol.. Five stars from me .
