Softening oil

I use this after hair wash day on my long hair and it protects it and keeps it shiny and fly away free. I have recently added extensions to my hair and they are in excellent condition and the oil moisturises and keeps them shiny without building up or being heavy

Amazing

Very little goes a long way, as you don’t need to use a lot to see some results, smells aromatic and fresh.

Shiny and smooth

I used this after washing my hair with the Tresemme shampoo and conditioner. I have medium length hair and used 2 pumps of product on wet hair and combed through before blow drying. It left my hair very shiny and smooth, however, some areas seemed to hold more product than others and did make my hair a little greasy. I would recommend using the product sparingly and to distribute it well on damp hair.

I like it

TRESemmé Lamellar Shine Finishing Hair Oil is a real find for giving your hair a salon shine! The light, completely non-greasy texture makes your hair smooth and shiny, eliminating any imperfections. The effect lasts all day, while the oil does not weigh down your curls. I use it together with the shampoo and conditioner of this line, and I am happy with the result!

Too heavy for me

Unless I apply this really, really sparingly, it makes my hair greasy. And because I’m applying in such a little amount I can’t see any difference, like I may as well not bother using it at all. So no good if you have hair which is more on the oily side

Good in small amounts

This oil is pretty good as long as you don't use too much. My hair is fine, so the tiniest amount goes a long way. I find it makes my hair too greasy if I overdo it. I also find putting it in my hair whilst it's still damp works best. It leaves hair super glossy frizz free and soft.

Smooth and lightweight

The tresemme lamellar shine finishing oil is supposed to be used as the last step in the lamellar shine routine after shampoo, conditioner and the leave in cream serum. whilst the hair is damp you add 2-3 pumps of the oil to the hair shaft and ends. it can also be used on dry hair. The finishing oil contains coconut, sunflower seed and macadamia oils and beta carotene antioxidant. The oil consistency is a lightweight oil gel that leaves no sticky finish in the hands. It adds to aligning the hair strand so that it appears shiny and smooth. I have used the finishing oil on its own on damp hair after my current shampoo and conditioner and another occasion when travelling using a shampoo bar. On each occasion I found the finishing oil was lightweight and did as it claimed to add a shine and smooth texture to the hair once dry.Only thing to note is that the finishing oil does not have any heat protector properties so you need to add that before drying and styling.

Hair feels great

This is a fantastic product it makes your hair look healthy and I feel its a great product. I liked that you can add it onto damp hair and it helps your hair shine and glow.

Tresemme lamellar shine oil.

So happy I came across the tresemme lamellar shine oil leaves hair silky smooth, smells devine, love that it makes your hair feel so fresh like you have just walked out of the salon. Paired with the shampoo and conditioner it's amazing

Has potential

I used this along with the matching shampoo and conditioner, the oil makes hair lovely and shiny however does nothing for frizzy flyaway hair which is a shame. If it did both and help the appearance of split ends it would be perfect.
