Great root touch up
The Clairol Root Touch Up Color is great at covering my roots. I like the smell and volume it gives my hair!

I'm on the fence with this one
First try - colour match was good, but to get enough coverage, and I don't have a lot of greys, I needed to use a reasonable amount, which left my hair looking greasy and feeling sticky. I tried it again, this time using less, but the coverage was knowhere near as good and although my hair didn't look greasy, it still felt sticky. Thankfully there doesn't appear to be any colour transfer after the 60 second drying period. The smell of the product is fairly minimal and inoffensive.

Great root touch up spray
I really like this root touch up spray. Good colour to cover up my grey roots, and -as an added bonus- it delivers extra volume to my roots as well. Great for in between colouring visits to hairdresser, so good cash saver too. Highly recommend.

Light coverage
The colour was covering a bit my roots but with stubborn Grey's it wasn't that good. I haven't noticed any better volume rather bit watery consistency. I wouldn't recommend it.

Not enough colour coverage
Not much colour in the spray at all. When spraying on my hair, it takes a lot of sprays to get a little colour on the few grey hairs I have. Good points are that it didn't make my hair feel heavy or greasy at the roots at all. Can't say I noticed an volumising effect though.

Clairol root touch up
I tested the light brown shade, it worked really well covering up the grey hairs that were starting to appear. I don't always have to time to colour my hair every 6 weeks so this was perfect until I dye my hair again.

Very easy to use,you spray it slighly away from your hair being careful to keep away from naked flames.It blends in very easily to your roots taking a natural look.Giving your hair some volume and lasts ages,

Good root cover
The Clairol Root Touch Up Color + Volume 2 in 1 Temporary Spray was easy to apply and gave good root coverage. It matched my hair colour quite well, although it was a little drier than expected. I would recommend as a quick temporary fix for touching up roots

Disappointing
Even though this product was similar to my hair colour and covers my root regrowth as stated, I was still disappointed with it. I found I had to spray the product closer than stated as it didn’t seem to cover more than a small area due to the small nozzle. I also found that after using it on freshly washed hair it seemed to leave my hair feeling tacky/sticky even after the product had fully dried. By the next day I felt like I had to wash my hair again as it left it feeling greasy. Unfortunately I don’t think I would use this product again and I’m not sure if I’d recommend.

Root spray
I liked this spray as it gave good coverage of colour over my grey roots prior to my visit to the hairdresser. There was limited transfer ofcolour onto my hands after i touched my hair.

Good root coverage but not for me
I tried the spray on my long straight hair and it covered my grey roots well. However it left a sticky residue in my hair which, while may be okay for more 'styled' short hair cuts, didn't work for my long straight hair. What was worse was when I tried to shampoo my hair the next day, the residue stayed in and left my hair feeling greasy. Unfortunately the product is not for me!

Best I have tried
I have tried all of the expensive and cheap root touch sprays, but this one is the best I've tried. It covers well without staining your scalp and clumping the hair together. It lasts all day, but can run off if you're wearing a head covering
