Perfect for in between salon trips
You really do have to shake this for a while, and sometimes it seems like little color comes out. To me this is a plus because another brand I use squirts a huge burst of color on your hair and it stains your scalp and you have to go back with a q-tip and erase it from your scalp! This I can get right up to my root by scalp and spray. Yes I use a lot more, but for how cheap it is, is worth it for the extra time I don't waste. I have a lighter brown/blonde color in summer, and color my hair a more medium brown in the winter. The light brown color works fine for my hair.

Ok product
I tested Clairol Root Touch Color a few times now. I'm finding it difficult to use without some of the colour getting on my forehead. However it does cover the grey well.

Easy to use, good results
I was a little sceptical if this product would cover my dark roots but I was pleasantly surprised by the results. It blended them really well into my highlighted hair and I can no longer see the dark line between the roots and the coloured hair. I will definitely be able to extend the time between having to colour my hair. It was also very easy to use, just part the hair, spray on the roots and leave for 15 minutes, so simple.

Awful
I was really looking forward to using this product as my hair grows quickly and my roots show through. Unfortunately, it made no difference to the colour of my hair at all and left it with a very sticky residue that made it look stiff and greasy. A

Great for a quick fix
I have been really impressed with this product and how effective it is - especially at covering those sneaky grey hairs inbetween salon appointments! The trick is not to spray the product too close to your head or it can be a little sticky, once you master the technique it’s brilliant for bringing hair back to life. It has saved me using a semi on my roots which doesn’t always end well with a balayage, so my hairdresser is pleased I’ve found a replacement also! Would recommend to others and will be buying more for sure

Nice Colour Blend
I did enjoy this root touch up spray it's definitely good for emergencies in covering up some darker roots. I have quite silvery hair with darker blonde roots so found this to be a tad too yellow for my hair colour. It does look really good though and I would keep a tin for emergencies. I've recommended my mum get a brown one for her hair as the coverage is really good compared to her usual brand. Overall the coverage is fantastic and it would be nice to have some more shades.

Nice color
Nice color , gives a good touch when you are in a hurry , but I didn’t like the texture, it makes the hair sticky and damp , I wouldn’t try it unless i just washed my hair to not look sticky

It's okay, but not for me
I have tested the product over multiple occasions. Doesn't really work for me though. Maybe my blonde colour is too light. Somehow products like that I know work better for brunettes. The coverage is just not great. It claims to give volume - I didn't find that to be true at all. I used it on unwashed hair - and there was no effect at all in terms of coverage of colour or volume. Then I have used it on a freshly washed hair and it definitely worked better, but my roots almost had like a grey tint to it. Not the biggest fan of this product. I really think it just doesn't suit my hair and doesn't deliver the promise of what it's meant to do.

Great grey hair coverage

Good root disguise
Firstly the can is difficult to spray you have to press extremely hard to make it spray. You may think you wont need a towel but you really do it sprays everywhere! The product comes out in a very fine mist. The colour was a perfect match for my hair and really made me feel better about my grey roots inbetween hairdresser colouring. It covered my greys and blended in. I don't understand where the 'volume' part of the product comes in as there was no volume when I gave used it. Over all the product is fab for special occasions to cover the roots or even daily if you are that self conscious but I honestly was expecting some sort of hairspray effect volume wise but there was nothing. Would I recommend yes and I would buy again if going somewhere nice at short notice or between hairdresser visits.
