Works well
Leaves hair really moisturised and curly. Makes hair appear more healthy, however using too much can make hair greasy. Need to get the right balance - doesn’t have much of a smell

Depends on hair type..
This product smells great, but as someone with relatively low porosity hair I don’t think this was suitable. My curls did hold, but it made my hair overall feel very heavy and greasy and I didn’t put a lot on. I didn’t think it suited my hair type but can see it working wonders for others as the curl hold is great!

doesn’t do much
Doesn’t do much for my curls except moisturise them but doesn’t hell hold them in place. Careful not to put too much on because it can make hair look very greasy.

Lovely curl cream
I use this on my daughter who has very curly hair. It smells great which is a massive plus. But you do not need too much product as it can leave the hair looking greasy if too much is applied. Leaves my daughters curls looking lovely and defined and keeps in good condition.

Changing product
This product has changed recently - it is a nice smelling moisturising product, however it is so moisturising you can easily apply to much product which leaves such greasy hair. I have very curly and frizzy hair and if you get the right amount its ok but there are better options on the market too

Great for the right hair type
I have seen this work wonders in family member’s hair with natural tight, curls. Not recommended if this isn’t you. It also smells lovely. It’s too moisturising for other hair types

Perfect for natural curls
I’ve been using this for years now and the packaging has recently changed, which is much better and appealing. This hair cream is perfect for natural curls, coils or waves for adding moisture which prevents frizz and adds definition. Can be used on its own or as a first step curl cream before any other curling products/routine you may use. Also great to use after washing and then scrunch and twist and leave to dry naturally. Hair is left with really good volume and definition. Deeply hydrating and nourishing with no silicones, sulphates or paraffins. It contains Shea butter, olive oil, coconut oil, grapeseed oil, avocado oil, sweet almond oil, jojoba oil and mango seed butter.

Smells amazing
Love the scent on this it lasts all day. How we have found the cream too heavy no matter how little I apply I just can’t get it right. Too little no difference too much and it’s a greasy mess

Great for Moisturizing Curls
I’ve been using the Cantu Shea Butter Moisturising Curl Activator Cream for a while now, and overall, I’m quite pleased with it. It does an excellent job of moisturizing my curls, leaving them soft, defined, and frizz-free. The shea butter formula is rich, which helps to lock in moisture for days.

Too heavy
This product is too heavy so all one needs is a small amount. The smell is ok.Over time cantu products seem to have changed not only the packaging but the formula as well.

Not for coily hair
When Cantu first launched it was a great product but since then they have expanded to various beauty retail markets. It has become very watered down with the understanding that one formula fits all. I can be very bad and tangle the hair even more. It's not great and I don't recommend it for those with curly to coily hair.

Quite good
I bought this for my teenage son who has unruly curly hair - he found that if he applies this after washing his hair and leaving in it leaves his hair.ore manageable and more natural less frizz curls- only used a small amount as too much isnt a good look - lightweight and good x

Heavy but does the job
Review of Cantu Hair Products: 3/5 Stars Cantu has made a name for itself in the world of hair care, particularly for those with textured and curly hair. After experimenting with several of the brand’s offerings, I’m inclined to give my experience a solid 3 out of 5 stars. Here's why: Texture and Moisture: Cantu's products, particularly its leave-in conditioners and creams, excel in providing moisture and defining curls. The shea butter-infused formulas are rich and creamy, which can be exceptionally hydrating for dry, coarse hair. For my hair type—wavy but prone to dryness—these products did a decent job at delivering hydration without feeling weighed down. Fragrance: While many users adore the sweet, warm scent of Cantu products, I found it to be a bit overpowering on occasion. While I appreciate a fragrant hair product, I prefer a more subtle scent that doesn't linger throughout the day. This is a personal preference, but worth noting for those sensitive to strong fragrances. In

Too heavy
I’ve got natural curls and find they do turn frizzy without products to help. This doesn’t suit my hair as it’s not as thick as it used to be so it ends up looking a tad lank
