I initially loved the blades and the cut they gave…. The 5 blades ensure a close cut is achieved. The Baobab oil strip offers great lubrication and feels good on the skin. However, after my second use, the blades left irritation on my neck and I had small cuts and the lubricated strip was not as effective as the first shave. It felt like the blades were pulling rather than cutting my facial hair.
The blades themselves came in convenient packaging and were easy to attach to the razor. It wasn’t a great shave though even with the five blades. It took more than a few attempts to get a good all round clean shave
In the end it was a fairly close shave, which could have been closer, but it did not leave any itraitation at all, which I was surprised at after having to redo numerous times. I think the problem lay in the ability for the blades to contour to the shape of the face, resulting in missed patches.
They are easy to change and fit, give a close smooth shave without any dragging. The lubricated strip helps the blade glide across the skin. The blade itself is long lasting so is economical.
These are fantastic blade refills by Bulldog. Very easy to change, sharp but doesn't cut the skin. Gives a close shave and perfect for sensitive skin. I would highly recommend to everyone!

No irritation razors.
The blade refills were fantastic I found the blades themselves really good quality that helped me with a close shave without any irratation
I was pleased to be selected to review this new bulldog razor, a brand that i was aware of but hadnt used yet.
It is clear from the simple but effective packaging and design that Bulldog are going down a more sustainable and recyclable path with their products which is great. Many of their competitors often go plastic crazy with their shaving packaging.
On to using the product, firstly it was really easy to remove and re attach the blades which some other companies make complicated or fiddly. The razor blades themselves provide a good but not perfect shave. I did find myself going over spots a few times which i dont seem to need to do with other products. I have sensitive skin and these are specifically designed for that which is great and i can confirm they agreed with my skin. All in all a great product which did the job, just needs a slightly sharper set of blades perhaps?
Item came in a nice box with separate razor head and razor body. I do think the packaging is slightly big for contents but as long as it gets to customer safely which this one did. The razor head had its own sleeve on the head for safety and this had to be removed. The razor body connects very easily as the two parts just need to be pressed together with slight force. To separate the user needs to press the big bulldog button on the razor body, this was also seamless in disconnecting.
The razor head has gel already attached to the head which just needs to be wet slightly. The razor blades cut very well and very close to the skin without discomfort and did not leave any nips or cuts to the skin. The gel worked quite well although it was more of a slime consistency rather than foam. The shave was extremely close and the product is advertised for sensitive skin.
The razor moves slightly up and down.
Overall I would say this razor is a delight to use for and I would recommend.
Blades were not as good as i thought they will be. I needed to go over my hair a few times for the clean shave look. They pulled more than I expected, which made them a bit uncomfortable to use.
The box it came in, really nice. But wasteful. But very cute. Could be smaller. Save space. Lots of empty packaging. Also, blades don't last long. If the shave is ineffective, you change blades quicker. Not really good value if you get more out of a Gillette.
The blades gave me a close shave, but they pulled a bit more than I expected, which made them a bit uncomfortable to use. Also, they didn’t clean out very well when I rinsed them. The plastic cover protects the blades well, though. I wouldn’t switch or recommend these.
the package has four replacement cartridges. each cartridge has 5 blades that shave precisely without any problems. the strip that moisturizes also works well. one cartridge is enough for 8 to 10 shaves. I recommend

Bulldog sensitive razor refills
I can't fully review this product yet as I've yet to actually use a refill as the original shaver is still in use but as it's the same as the original these will only be the same so I can fully recommend these refills and shaver
Blades reliefs are good, they do the job as shoul. Shave quality is good and very easy to replace. Can't compare to other brands as only returned to razor shaving few weeks ago after long time using electric shaver.
